Мета – дослідження впливу занять з фітнесу на динаміку мотивів та інтересів до занять фізичною культурою і спортом у дівчат старшого шкільного віку.
Об’єкт дослідження – процес фізичного виховання учнів старшого шкільного віку.
Методи дослідження – аналіз науково-методичної літератури; педагогічний експеримент; анкетування; опитування; методика визначення показників фізичної підготовленості; методи математичної статистики.
З’ясовано, що у рейтингу мотивів, яким надають перевагу дівчата старшого шкільного віку, головне місце займає мотив покращення самопочуття та здоров’я 78,57%, на другому місці – мотив формування гармонійної тілобудови 64,29%, на третьому місці – набуття корисних для життя знань і умінь – 50,00%. Мотиву використання активного відпочинку надають перевагу 42,86% опитаних.
Встановлено, що відносний приріст показників тесту показників тесту «Біг 1500 м, хв,с» складає (-8,90)% (Р<0,001); тесту «Стрибок у довжину з місця, см» – 10,70% (Р<0,05); тесту «Згинання і розгинання рук в упорі лежачи, разів» – 27,27% (Р<0,001); тесту «Біг 100 м, с» складає (-5,17)% (Р<0,05); тесту «Човниковий біг 9 м х 4, с» складає (-3,51)% (Р<0,01); тесту «Нахил тулуба вперед з положення сидячи, см» – 50% (Р<0,01).

The aim is to study the impact of fitness classes on the dynamics of motives and interests in physical education and sports in older school age girls.
The object of study is the process of physical education of older students.
Research methods - analysis of scientific and methodological literature; pedagogical experiment; questionnaire; poll; the method of determining the indicators of physical fitness; methods of mathematical statistics.
It was found that in the ranking of motives, which are preferred by older school age, the main place is the motive for improving health and wellness 78.57%, in the second place – the motive for the formation of a harmonious body structure 64.29%, in the third place – the acquisition useful knowledge and skills – 50,00%. 42.86% of the respondents favor the use of recreation.
It is established that the relative increase of the test indicators of the indicators of the test «Run 1500 m, min, s» is (-8,90)% (P <0,001); test «Long jump from place, cm» – 10,70% (P <0,05); the test «Bending and extension of the hands in the emphasis lying, once» – 27,27% (P <0,001); the test «Running 100 m, s» is -5.17% (P <0.05); test «Shuttle Run 9 m x 4, s» is –3.51% (P <0.01); of the test «Tilting the torso forward from the sitting position, cm» - 50% (P <0.01).
