The object of the research is blood-sucking mosquitoes (Culicidae) in the steppe
zone of Ukraine.
The subject of the research is the ecology of blood-sucking mosquitoes
(Culicidae) in the steppe zone of Ukraine.
The research methods include statistical analysis, determinant of faunal
similarity indices using Jaccard and Sørensen methods, and determination of species
dominance index.
The purpose of the qualification work is to study the ecological characteristics of
blood-sucking disease vectors in the biogeocenosis of the steppe zone of Ukraine with
different etiologies.
Theoretically and experimentally, it has been determined that there are 30 species
of blood-sucking mosquitoes belonging to 6 genuses inhabiting the territory of the
steppe zone. It has been found that the Jaccard's faunal similarity coefficient between
the western part of the steppe (Black Sea region) and the eastern part (Dnieper region)
is 53%. According to Sørensen, the faunal similarity coefficient is 0.7, indicating the
presence of a significant number of unique species in certain areas. It has also been
determined that Ae. vexans dominate in the floodplain forests of the steppe Dnieper
region (88%), while in the Odessa region, two species, Cx. pipiens and Cx. modestus,
accounts for 84% of the mosquitoes.

Об’єктом дослідження є кровосисні комарі (Culicidae) степової зони
України.
Предметом дослідження є екологія кровосисних комарів (Culicidae)
степової зони України.
Методи досліджень складаються з загальноприйнятих методів відбору
кровосисних комарів у фазі личинки та імаго, статистичної обробки, визначення
індексів спільності фауни за Жаккаром та С’єренсеном визначення індексу
домінування видів.
Метою кваліфікаційної роботи є дослідження екологічних особливостей
кровосисних комарів-переносників збудників хвороб різної етіології в
біогеоценозі степової зони України.
Теоретично та експериментально визначено, що на території степової
зони мешкає 30 видів кровосисних комарів, що належать до 6 родів. Визначено,
що коефіцієнт спільності фаун за Жаккаром між західною частиною степу
(Причорномор’я) та східною частиною (Придніпров’я) дорівнює 53%. За
С’єренсеном коефіцієнт спільності фаун дорівнює 0.7, що свідчить про наявність
значної кількості унікальних видів на досліджуваних територіях. Також
визначено, що у заплавних дібровах степового Придніпров’я домінуючим видом
є Ae. vexans (88%), а у Одеській області на два види (Cx. pipiens та Cx. modestus)
приходиться 84% від всіх кровосисних комарів.
