Актуальність проблеми обумовлена, по-перше, специфікою педагогічної діяльності викладача вищої школи, яка здебільшого відрізняється від діяльності шкільного вчителя; по-друге, недоліками, що існують в системі професійно-педагогічної підготовки викладацьких кадрів для закладів вищої освіти. В роботі розглянуто особливості професійно-педагогічної діяльності викладача закладу вищої освіти, уточнено сутність і специфіку адаптації викладача-початківця до професійно-педагогічної діяльності, теоретично обґрунтовано та експериментально досліджено педагогічні умови, які забезпечують ефективність адаптації викладача-початківця до професійно-педагогічної діяльності. Наукова новизна полягає в тому, що розкрито сутність адаптації викладача-початківця до професійно-педагогічної діяльності; визначено, обґрунтовано та експериментально перевірено педагогічні умови, які забезпечують адаптацію викладача-початківця вищої школи до професійно-педагогічної діяльності; виявлено утруднення й недоліки в професійно-педагогічній діяльності викладачів-початківців.

The object of the study: professional and pedagogical activity of teachers-beginners of the institution of higher education. The urgency of the problem is due, first of all, to the specific pedagogical activity of the teacher of the higher school, which is largely different from the activity of the school teacher; secondly, the shortcomings that exist in the system of vocational training of teaching staff for higher education institutions. The peculiarities of professional-pedagogical activity of the teacher of higher education institution are considered in the work, the essence and specifics of adaptation of the beginning-teacher to the professional-pedagogical activity are specified, the pedagogical conditions which provide the teaching-teaching activity are theoretically substantiated and experimentally investigated. The scientific novelty is that the essence of adaptation of the beginning-teacher to the professional-pedagogical activity is revealed; pedagogical conditions have been defined, substantiated and experimentally tested, which ensure the adaptation of the high school teacher to the professional and pedagogical activity; revealed difficulties and shortcomings in the professional and pedagogical activity of beginning teachers.
