Мета роботи – вивчити особливості розвитку та сучасного стану туризму Північної Європи, а також розглянути можливості використання північноєвропейського досвіду для розвитку туризму в Україні.
Об’єкт дослідження – сучасні тенденції розвитку міжнародного туризму в Північноєвропейському регіоні.
Предмет дослідження – економічні та організаційні засади, практичні аспекти механізму розвитку ринку туристичних послуг країн Північної Європи у сучасних умовах регіональних трансформаційних процесів
Методи дослідження. В процесі дослідження використовувалися методи системно-структурного, кількісного і якісного аналізу; синтезу; статистичного порівняння; теоретичного узагальнення.
Туризм фактично став «індустрією ХХІ ст.», його комплексний характер та значний вплив на різні сторони сучасного суспільства зумовлюють необхідність вивчення та узагальнення складних і різноманітних процесів розвитку туризму як в цілому, так і на прикладі конкретних країнах. Досвід розвитку туризму в Скандинавських країнах є безумовно цікавим для багатьох країн у всіх відношеннях. Зміст кваліфікаційної роботи полягає у виконанні аналізу стану розвитку міжнародного туризму в країнах Північної Європи, з’ясуванні причин високого розвитку туризму протягом останніх десяти років в регіоні, та розробленні плану щодо впровадження північноєвропейського досвіду розвитку туризму в Україні.

The purpose of the work is to study the features of the development and current state of tourism in Northern Europe, as well as to consider the possibilities of using the Northern European experience for the development of tourism in Ukraine.
The object of study is the current trends in the development of international tourism in the Northern European region.
Subject of research - economic and organizational principles, practical aspects of the mechanism of development of the market of tourist services of the countries of Northern Europe in the current conditions of regional transformation processes
Research methods. Methods of system-structural, quantitative and qualitative analysis were used in the research process; synthesis; statistical comparison; theoretical generalization.
In fact, tourism has become an "industry of the 21st century. Its complex nature and significant influence on different sides of modern society make it necessary to study and summarize the complex and diverse processes of tourism development both in general and in the case of specific countries. The experience of tourism development in the Scandinavian countries is certainly interesting for many countries in all respects. The content of the qualification work is to analyze the state of development of international tourism in the countries of Northern Europe, to find out the causes of high tourism development in the last ten years in the region, and to develop a plan for the implementation of the Northern European experience of tourism development in Ukraine
