Вербалізація концепту friendship засобами пареміологічного фонду англійської мови

Abstract

UA : Кваліфікаційна робота – 60 стор., 67 джерел Об’єкт дослідження: паремійний фонд англійської мови. Мета роботи: визначення особливостей вербалізації концепту “FRIENDSHIP” в англійських пареміях. Теоретико-методологічні засади: ключові положення теорії концепту, розроблені провідними вітчизняними та зарубіжними лінгвістами (С. С. Балашова, Т. П. Вільчинська, О. В. Городецька, В. В. Жайворонок, О. С. Косенко, О. О. Хорошун, Н. В Таценко, О. О. Селіванова, А. М. Приходько, О. М. Цапок, Л. Блум, Б. Хелм). Отримані результати: У дослідженні розглянуто мовні засоби репрезентації концепту “FRIENDSHIP” у паремійному фонді англійської мови. Окреслено лексичні одиниці, що входять до синонімічного поля іменника “friendship” та репрезентують обраний концепт. Виявлено частини мови та стійкі вирази, через які відбувається вербалізація концепту “FRIENDSHIP”. У дослідженні з’ясовано у відсотковому співвідношенні ядро концепту, ближня та дальня периферії. Встановлено, що переважна кількість аналізованих паремій мають позитивну конотацію. Проведено аналіз 152 паремій у складі досліджуваного концепту на основі двох класифікацій: за ступенем ідіоматичності та за структурними особливостями англійських прислів’їв та приказок про дружбу. Виділено образну складову паремій, засновану на метафоричних та метонімічних переносах. Підтверджено, що виявлений сектор в англійській концептосфері відіграє ключову роль у концептуалізації світу людиною та свого буття в ньому.

EN : The presented research is devoted to the implementation of the concept of “FRIENDSHIP” in English paremiology. The work focuses on the national and cultural peculiarities of the concept in English language picture of the world. The object of the study is the paremic foundation of the English language. The purpose of the work is to determine the peculiarities of the verbalization of the concept “FRIENDSHIP” in English paremies. We discuss the idea of a “concept” in the field of linguistics that holds substantial significance, serving as a primary encoding unit for the cognitive representation of reality within various linguistic disciplines such as cognitive linguistics, studies of linguistic culture, ethnolinguistics, and linguistic conceptology. The work explores the diverse perspectives on the notion of “concept” across different linguistic subfields, delineates the term “concept”, and delves into its analytical examination and verbal expression. In the study, the core of the concept, the near and far periphery is clarified in percentage ratio. It has been established that the majority of analyzed paremias have a positive connotation. An analysis of paremies was carried out on the basis of two classifications: according to the degree of idiomaticity and according to the structural features of English proverbs and sayings about friendship. The figurative component of paremias, based on metaphorical and metonymic transfers, is singled out. It is confirmed that the identified sector in the English conceptual sphere plays a key role in the conceptualization of the world by man and his existence in it. The architecture of paroemia fields and the metaphorical aspects of the concept “FRIENDSHIP” have been depicted. The study’s classification of paroems, based on their idiomaticity regarding friendship, reveals a dominant group of expressions that imply a direct, unequivocal association with the concept.
