Предмет дослідження: педагогічні умови формування екологічної компетентності дітей старшого дошкільного віку засобами екологічної стежини. У кваліфікаційній роботі проаналізовано сучасні тенденції формування еколого- природничої компетенції старших дошкільників; сутність і зміст поняття «екологічна стежина»; педагогічні вимоги до організації освітнього процесу на екологічній стежині з дошкільнятами старшої групи; застосування сучасних технологій для формування екологічної компетенції у дітей старшого дошкільного віку засобами екологічної стежини; методичні рекомендації щодо організації освітнього процесу з формування природосвідомої поведінки старших дошкільників на екологічній стежині.
