The symptom of PTSD in children of primary school age is currently an urgent and important problem due to the increasing number of traumatic events that children may encounter. These can be negative experiences such as accidents, natural disasters, violence or dangerous situations in the family or school. These events can cause stress, anxiety and traumatic consequences in children, which in turn can lead to the development of post-traumatic stress disorder. Psychological features of children of primary school age are of great importance in the context of correction of PTSD symptoms. At this stage of the child's development, the main cognitive, emotional and behavioral patterns that determine his further development are formed. Understanding and adequate response to stressful situations of children of this age can affect the child's mental and emotional health in the future. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that the obtained results allow us to understand the psychological mechanisms of correction of PTSD symptoms in children of primary school age and provide a basis for further research in this area.
