Особливості вербалізації етичних категорій в англійській мові

Abstract

UA : Дипломна робота – 68 сторінок, 76 джерел. Об’єкт дослідження: базові морально етичні концепти англійськомовної концептуальної картини світу. Мета роботи: висвітлення особливостей мовної об’єктивації англійськомовних лінгвоетичних категорій. Теоретико-методологічні засади: роботи провідних вітчизняних та зарубіжних вчених, зокрема теорія лінгвоконцептуального аналізу (Дж. Лакофф, З. Д. Попова, Й. А. Стернін, О. С. Кубрякова, О. П. Воробйова) теорія картин світу ( С. Г. Воркачев, Л. Вайсгерер), теорія семантико-когнітивного аналізу (В. Еванс, Дж. Лакофф, В. І. Карасик, О. С. Кубрякова, В. А. Маслова). Отримані результати: Сукупність моральних категорій складає морально етичну картину світу, що є складовою концептуальної картини світу в цілому. Базовими лінгвоетичними концептами у рамках дослідження були визначені концепти GOOD / EVIL, DIGNITY. До ядерних вербалізаторів вищезазначених етичних категорій належать прямі номінації, тоді як периферію формують фразеологізми та паремії. Цей пласт може містити у собі навіть протилежні за змістом когнітивні диференційні ознаки, які навіть суперечать одна одній. Це пояснюється тим, що ця аналізована категорія вербалізується відповідно до різних ракурсів, а отже, може осмислюватися по різному у різних обставинах. Семантико когнітивний та оінгвоконцептуальний аналізи довели, що внутрішня форма категорії good зазнала значних змін у діахронічній перспективі, тоді як категорія DIGNITY зазнала значно менших змін. Лінгвоетична категорія NOBILITY, яка пов’язана з DIGNITY формує окремий пласт цього лінгвоетичного концепту.

EN : The presented paper deals with the research of peculiarities of objectifying of the ethical categories in the English language. The object of the work can be defined as ethical categories of the English conceptual sphere while the subject is peculiarities of verbalizations of ethical categories. The main aim of the paper is to highlight the linguocognitive peculiarities of ethical categories objectifying by means of the English language. It determined the accomplishment of such objectives as: - generalizing and systematizing of the material considering principles and methods of cognitive analysis. - establish the role of moral categories in conceptual world picture; - highlight the main linguoethical concepts; - distinguish the scope of nuclear verbalisers of the concepts; - carry out etymological and semantic analysis of the selected lexical units; - single out cognitive differential features; - describe the semantic prototype of the basic concepts. Through semantic-cognitive analysis it becomes possible to highlight the main cognitive features of the ethical categories. It became clear that there is a direct semantic and cognitive link between the analyzed categories which proves the uninterrupted character of the conceptual system and semantic space. Nuclear verbalizers reveal the essential cognitive differential signs while periphery verbalizers are represented by means of phraseological units quotes of famous people and proverbs. For this reason, periphery has sometimes contradictory cognitive features which is explained by its large interpretational potential.
