Складні слова в діалектах британського варіанту англійської мови

Abstract

UA : Дипломна робота – 54 стор., 65 джерел. Об’єктом дослідження: складні слова діалектів Англії (графства Камберленд, Дарем и Кент). Мета роботи: розкриття специфіки складних слів діалектів Англії та в виділенні їх особливостей. Теоретико-методологічні засади: для розв’язання поставлених завдань у роботі використано сукупність кількох методів: метод узагальнення й опису теоретичної бази та фактичного матеріалу, суцільної вибірки із наявного матеріалу, компонентного аналізу словникових дефініцій, порівняння й мовних явищ, приклади яких були математично підраховані. Отримані результати: у ході роботи було узагальнено понятійну базу досліджуваної проблематиці, уточнено поняття «діалект» та обґрунтовано термін «складні слова». Було виявлено особливості складних слів та та їх типи. Проаналізовано та зіставлено складні слова діалектів Англії (графства Камберленд, Дарем и Кент). За результатом практичного аналізу було створено корпус складних слів діалектів Англії загальним обсягом 1294 одиниці (416 у діалекті графства Дарем, 573 кентському та 305 у камберлендському діалектах), які складають діалектну картину світу Англії ХІХ ст. С точки зору системних зв’язків аналізованої лексики було знайдено синонімію, антонімію, полі- і моносемантичність, енантіосемію.

EN : The current level of development of linguistic science involves the active study of ethnocultural studies, sociolinguistics, ethno-linguistics, which is determined by the anthropological approach to language and conditioned by its cumulative function - the ability to reflect, preserve, transmit from generation to generation, whatever and culture, the peculiarity of the nature of its carriers, etc. The subject of the study is the complex words of the dialects of England (Cumberland, Durham and Kent). The purpose of the work is to reveal the specificity of the complex words of the dialects of England and to highlight their peculiarities. Theoretical and methodological foundations: a set of several methods were used to solve the set tasks: a method of generalization and description of theoretical base and factual material, a solid sample of available material, a component analysis of dictionary definitions, comparisons and linguistic phenomena, examples of which were used. Results were obtained: during the work the conceptual base of the studied problems was generalized, the concept of “dialect” was clarified and the term “complex words” was substantiated. The features of compound words and their types were revealed. Complex words of the dialects of are analyzed and compared. As a result of the practical analysis, a corpus of complex words of English dialects was created, with a total volume of 1294 units, which make up a dialectic picture of the nineteenth-century England.
