Мовні засоби об'єктивації концептів GOOD та EVIL в англійськомовному художньому дискурсі

Abstract

UA : Дипломна робота – 80 стор., 74 джерела. Об’єкт дослідження: концепти "good" та "evil", як універсалії людського мислення, як феномени національної картини носіїв англійської мови. Мета роботи полягає у виявлення лінгвокультурних характеристик концептів "good" та "evil" в художньому дискурсі. Теоретико-методологічні засади: праці, що виконані в руслі когнітивної лінгвістики та лінгвоконцептології, які торкаються проблем поняття, структури та методів дослідження лінгвокультурних концептів (Ю. С. Степанов, М. В. Нікітін, В. І. Карасик, М. Ф. Алефіренко, Г. Г. Слишкін) та праці, пов’язані з дослідженням концептів "добро" та "зло", "good" та "evil" (О. А. Егорова, Л. В. Коліжук, О. Ю. Мокрушина). Отримані результати: визначено понятійний зміст концептів "good" та "evil", проаналізовано ціннісну та образну складову даних концептів; досліджено актуалізацію концептів "good" та "evil" в художньому дискурсі.

EN : The research work deals with the verbalization of the concepts "good" and "evil" in the modern English-speaking world (on the material of English work of literature XX-XXI c.). The object is the concepts "good" and "evil" in the Englishspeaking linguo-culture. The actuality of this research paper is the study of the concepts "good" and "evil" and ways of their representation in modern literature. The main aim of the paper consists in analyzing ways, peculiarities and forms of verbalization of the concepts "good" and "evil" in modern English-speaking world. It determined the accomplishment of such objectives as: the studying and systematization of different approaches to the studying of the opposition "good"- "evil"; the definition of conceptual meaning of the phenomena "good" and "evil"; the analysis of the value component of the concepts; the revealing of the imagery component of the concepts; the investigation of the actualization of the concepts "good" and "evil". The scientific novelty of the presented research paper lies in the studying of the language means, which were used to represent the concepts "good" and "evil" on the basis of modern empirical material. The ways of actualization of the concepts "good" and "evil" (their value and imagery components) by English-speaking people are reflected in the present research paper.
