Об’єкт дослідження: трансформації літературного твору у процесі його переосмислення засобами кінематографу.

Теоретико-методологічні засади: положеннях, розроблених в теорії мистецтв, культурології, літературознавстві, філософії. Робота проведена з опорою на такі методи як: порівняння, аналіз, теоретичне узагальнення. Використано так специфічні методи: компаративний аналіз, інтермедіальний аналіз, рецептивна естетика та гендерні студії.
Отримані результати: в наш час багато кіномитців звертаються до художніх текстів задля перетворення їх у кінострічку. Не виключенням стала анло-саксонська поема «Беовульф», яка багата подієво, проте є бідною за мотивуваннями. Це дало поштовх режисерам «дописати» недостаючі штрихи або повністю переосмислити сюжетну лінію та образи персонажів. Слід пам’ятати, що кіно і літераура – два різних види мистецтва, тож слід знайти правильний шлях до перекодування одного з них в інший. Екранізації поеми поділені на два типи: ті, що шанобливо і коректно поводяться з сюжетом, героями, художнім світом англосаксонської поеми і ті, які експериментують з ними.
Вироблено алгоритм інтермедіального аналізу літературного твору та його екранізації, за яким і було проведено такий аналіз. Враховувалися сюжетна лінія, образи героїв, засоби впливу на глядача.
EN : The presented paper is dedicated to the rethinking of literature works through cinematography.
The object of the work can be defined as transformation of a literary work in the process of its rethinking by means of cinematography
The main aim of the paper consists in studying the specifics of transferring a literary work on a television screen. It determined the accomplishment of such objectives as:
⎯ to study the stages of formation of comparative studies in general and the emergence of intermedial studies in particular;
⎯ to consider varieties of adaptations and specifics of their interaction with literary works;
⎯ to investigate the specifics of the transfer of a literary work by means of cinematography;
⎯ to uncover the interpretive potential of the poem “Beowulf”;
⎯ to describe the specifics of the re-interpretation of the Anglo-Saxon poem “Beowulf” by cinematographic means.
General information about the formation and development of intermedial studies is given in the work. Special attention is given to defining the algorithm of conducting the intermedial analysis of a literary work and its adaptation. This algorithm is applied when comparing the Anglo-Saxon poem “Beowulf” and its adaptations made by Sturla Gunnarsson “Beowulf & Grendel” (2005) and by Robert Zemeckis “Beowulf” (2007).
The scientific novelty of the presented research lies in the highlighting of the features of rethinking a literary work by means of cinematography, as well as suggesting an algorithm for comparing a literary text with its adaptation, which is subjected to testing during comparative study.
