Особливості формування мовного портрета в англійськомовних автобіографіях

Мета роботи: розкриття особливостей формування мовного портрета в англійськомовних автобіографіях американських діячів XIX-XX ст. Теоретико-методологічні засади: початок дослідженню автобіографії як культурного феномена було покладено в працях таких вчених як Ю. Лотман, М. Бахтін, Л. Баткин, Ф. Знанецкий. Дану проблематику вивчали Ю. Караулов, В. Красних, М. Ляпоп, С. Сухих та інші. Отримані результати: Літературна автобіографія – це жанр, що поєднує трансформовану індивідом реальність та культурну пам’ять народу, до якого належить автор автобіографічних текстів. Мовна особистість ‒ це спосіб опису мовної спроможності індивіда, що поєднує в собі знання мови та здатність за допомогою неї створювати тексти. Мовна особистість включає в себе мовний портет. Вирізняють: фізичний, гендерний, мовленнєвий, психологічний та соціальний мовний портрет. Велику роль для формування мовного автопортрету Б. Франкліна відіграють лексеми сімейно-рольової сфери: лексемами конфесійно-релігійної сфери та лексеми на позначення віку. Лексеми на позначення суспільно-політичної сфери притамані для мовних портретів Дж. Рокфеллера та Г. Форда. У формуванні мовних портретів Б. Франкліна Дж. Рокфеллера та Г. Форда найчастіше були використанні прикметники, власні назви, а також: особисті займенники we, you, невизначено-особові займенники man, присвійні займенники my, our, модальні слова, слова з префіксоїдом «self», семантичні оператори з семантикою загальності, атемпоральні предикати.

The presented article is devoted to the analysis of such actual problem as features of formation of a language portrait in English-language autobiographies. The object of the work are the autobiographies of J.D. Rockefeller, G. Ford, B. Franklin. The scientific novelty of the presented research lies in the attempt to study the peculiarities of the formation the linguistic portrait in English-language autobiographies of J.D. Rockefeller, G. Ford, B. Franklin. The main aim of the paper is to reveal the peculiarities of the formation of the linguistic portrait in the English-language autobiographies of American figures of the XIX-XX centuries. This determined the achievement of such goals as: - to study the literary genre of autobiography and its difference from related genres (diary, memoirs, etc.) in terms of its structure; - to study the distinction between types of autobiographical texts in the English-language linguistic and cultural tradition; - to study the types of language portrait and lexical means of creating a portrait; - to investigate the problem of self-identification in the autobiography of J.D. Rockefeller, G. Ford, B. Franklin and to determine the features of the formation of the language portrait in these English-language autobiographies. The study identifies lexeme-markers for each autobiographical work, which vividly illustrate the levels of self-identification of leading American figures. Linguistic analysis made it possible to find out the main expressive means by which the formation of a linguistic portrait takes place in an autobiographical text.
