In the qualification work, a theoretical and empirical study of the specific socio-pedagogical conditions on which the psycho-emotional state of a child under guardianship who has hearing impairment depends is presented. The assumption is checked that among the factors affecting the emotional well-being of the category of children of interest, the most significant will be such as the presence of parental feelings in the guardian, his awareness of the peculiarities of the child’s pathology and its effect on the mental and personal development of the ward, the guardian’s knowledge of sign language, and effective social the teacher in terms of the dynamics of interaction with the guardianship and guardianship authorities, as well as maintaining accounting and reporting documents.
The research object: the process of socio-pedagogical support of the emotional well-being of a child with hearing impairment in a guardian family.
The research subject: is the socio-pedagogical conditions for ensuring the emotional well-being of a child with hearing impairment in a guardian family.
The research purpose: to theoretically substantiate and experimentally verify the socio-pedagogical conditions, which, providing the basic needs of a child with hearing impairment, satisfy their positive emotional states as a prerequisite for mental development and health and the creation of which is necessary for the full functioning of the guardianship family.
The research tasks are:
1) Theoretically investigate the nature and content of the functioning of the guardianship family as the most common form of device for orphans and children deprived of parental care.
2) Describe the regulatory support for the functioning of guardian families in which children with hearing impairment are placed.
3) Identify the developmental features of children with hearing impairment.
4) Describe the key socio-pedagogical conditions that may underlie the provision of emotional well-being of a child with hearing impairment in a guardian family.
5) Experimentally check the socio-pedagogical conditions for ensuring the emotional well-being of a child with hearing impairment in a guardian family.
The part 1 “Theoretical Foundations of the Socio-Pedagogical Support of Guardian Families with Children with Hearing Impairment,” a theoretical analysis of the nature and content of guardianship as a form of the family structure of orphans and children deprived of parental care is carried out, a general description of domestic and foreign experience of escorting is presented guardianship families in which children with hearing impairment are brought up, as well as features of the development and upbringing of children with hearing impairment. The part 2 “An empirical study of the socio-pedagogical conditions for ensuring the emotional well-being of a child with hearing impairment in a guardian family,” the scientific substantiation is carried out, as well as the contents of the socio-pedagogical conditions highlighted by the author that affect the emotional well-being of a child with hearing impairment in a guardian family are disclosed; The procedure for conducting a formative experiment is described, indicating the methods that were used at the stages of preliminary and control evaluation of the dependent and independent variables; The results of the formation of social and pedagogical conditions that ensure the emotional well-being of a child with hearing impairments in a guardian family are described, analyzed, statistically processed and interpreted.
For almost all indicators of the formation of socio-psychological conditions, statistically significant differences were obtained before and after the formation influence. As a result of the formative experiment, the parental feelings of the guardians towards the wards became stronger, knowledge about their human qualities and characteristics was enriched, the level of knowledge about the consequences of hearing impairment in children increased, and skills in sign language were improved. As a result of the study, it was found that the qualitative implementation of the selected socio-pedagogical conditions really improves the psycho-emotional state of children with hearing impairment, who are brought up in guardian families.

Предмет дослідження – соціально-педагогічні умови забезпечення емоційного благополуччя дитини з порушеннями слуху в опікунській сім’ї.
Мета дослідження – визначити та емпірично дослідити соціально-педагогічні умови, які, забезпечуючи задоволення базових потреб дитини з порушеннями слуху, сприяють переживанню нею позитивних емоційних станів як передумови психічного розвитку і здоров’я та створення яких є необхідним для повноцінного функціонування опікунської сім’ї.
Методи дослідження: теоретичні – аналіз, систематизація, узагальнення; емпіричні – опитувальники, контент-аналіз, експертне оцінювання, педагогічний експеримент; статистичні методи обробки даних.
Теоретичне значення дослідження полягає у визначенні, змістовному розкритті та науковій конкретизації сукупності значущих психолого-педагогічних умов, від яких залежить рівень комфорту перебування дитини з порушеннями слуху в опікунській сім’ї, її емоційне благополуччя в просторі суб’єкт-суб’єктної взаємодії з опікуном.
Практичне значення дослідження полягає у розробці комплексу заходів оптимізації соціально-педагогічних умов перебування дитини з порушенням слуху в опікунській сім’ї задля забезпечення її побутового комфорту й високого рівня соціальної захищеності та, як наслідок, покращення емоційного самопочуття.
Галузь використання: навчально-реабілітаційні центри для дітей з порушеннями слуху, спеціальні школи для дітей з порушеннями слуху, загальноосвітні навчальні заклади з інклюзивними класами, служби у справах дітей, центри соціальних служб для сім’ї, дітей та молоді, медичні заклади.
