Об’єкт дослідження – фізичне виховання школярів.
Мета дослідження – визначити особливості впливу засобів гімнастики на показники здоров’я дітей 9-10 років на основі аналізу динаміки показників функціональної і фізичної підготовленості упродовж начального року.
Методи дослідження – аналіз та узагальнення літературних джерел за темою дослідження, педагогічні спостереження за фізичним вихованням школярів, педагогічний експеримент, оцінка фізичного здоров’я, оцінка функціональних показників, тестування показників фізичної підготовленості учнів, методи математичної статистики.
Експериментальним шляхом підтверджено ефективність застосування гімнастичних вправ у фізичному вихованні школярів з метою підвищення рівня їхнього здоров’я. Зафіксовано покращення функціональних показників дівчаток під впливом гімнастичних вправ, але ці зміни не достовірні.
Зафіксовано позитивну тенденцію зрушень у рівні здоров’я дівчат наприкінці навчального року. Загальний стан здоров’я дівчат покращився.
Під впливом застосування гімнастичних вправ покращилися показники координаційних здібностей дівчат, сили та гнучкості. Достовірний приріст у дівчаток виявлено за всіма тестами.

The object of the research is the physical education of schoolchildren.
The aim of the research is to determine the peculiarities of the influence of gymnastics means on the health indicators of children aged 9-10 years based on the analysis of the dynamics of the indicators of functional and physical fitness during the academic year.
Research methods – analysis and generalization of literary sources on the research topic, pedagogical observations of the physical education of schoolchildren, pedagogical experiment, assessment of physical health, assessment of functional indicators, testing of indicators of physical fitness of students, methods of mathematical statistics.
The effectiveness of the use of gymnastic exercises in physical education of schoolchildren in order to improve their health level has been experimentally confirmed. An improvement in the functional indicators of girls under the influence of gymnastic exercises was recorded, but these changes are not reliable.
A positive trend of shifts in the health level of girls at the end of the school year was recorded. The girls' general health improved.
Under the influence of gymnastic exercises, the indicators of girls' coordination abilities, strength and flexibility improved. A significant increase in girls was found for all tests.
