Інтермедіальні проєкції Шекспірівського «Короля Ліра» в світлі компаративного аналізу

Abstract

EN : The work is presented on 70 pages of printed text, contains 1 application. The list of references includes 70 sources. The presented paper is dedicated to the analysis of intermedial dialogue between cinema and W. Shakespeare's “King Lear”. The object of the work can be defined as the film adaptation of the classics as a manifestation of intellectual and creative dialogue of literature and cinema art. The main aim of the paper consists in revealing the specifics of the artistic representation of Shakespeare's tragedy “King Lear” in various adaptations of the play based on the developed algorithm. The following tasks meet the set goal: 1) to highlight the priority areas of scientific interest of modern literary comparative studies and intermedial studies as one of its newest directions; 2) to create a holistic vision of the current state of study of the problem of “literature and cinema” and propose an algorithm for comparing literary text and its transcoding in the language of the cinema; 3) to conceptualize the phenomenon of Shakespearean cinema and consider its genesis; 4) to create a typology of Shakespearean films and outline the contribution of its most prominent creators; 5) to collect and systematize the information about the film adaptations of Shakespeare’s tragedy “King Lear”, focusing on the poetical specifics of the most significant movies; 6) to analyze the film projections of “King Lear” made by Peter Brook and Uli Edel according to the developed algorithm; 7) to identify the nature of correlation of the films with Shakespeare’s play, to determine the key creative imperatives of the directors and the type of the intermedial projections. The scientific novelty of the presented research lies in the fact that it created a holistic panorama of film projections of Shakespeare's tragedy “King Lear”; the algorithm of comparison of the classical work and its film adaptation has been offered and tested; for the first time a comparative analysis was conducted and the typological status was determined.

Об’єкт дослідження: екранізація класики як прояв інтелектуально-творчого діалогу літератури і кіномистецтва. Мета роботи: виявлення специфіки художньої репрезентації трагедії В. Шекспіра «Король Лір» у різнотипних екранізаціях твору на основі виробленого алгоритму. Теоретико-методологічні засади: праці відомих компаративістів В. Будного, М. Ільницького, Д. Наливайка, Е. Касперського та ін., кінознавців В. Шкловського, Ю. Тинянова, О. Аронсона, Н. Аносової, О. Ліпкова, О. Дубініної та ін., а також фахівців з шекспірознавства, які досліджували кіноекранізації: Е. Гріффіна, М. Гадженс, Н. Торкут та ін. Отримані результати: в загальній парадигмі кіношекспіріани виокремлено чотири типи кінопродукції: кіноекранізації творів, адаптації творів, кінострічки, де Шекспір постає як персонаж та ремінісцентні фільми. Кінопостановка Пітера Брука «Король Лір» належить до першого типу, оскільки в ній збережено хронотоп, систему образів, всі сюжетні лінії й колізії та шекспірівський текст. Фільм Улі Еделя «Король Техасу» суттєво відрізняється і від твору В. Шекспіра. Творчий імператив режисера – створення вестерну про життя Америки XIX століття, при цьому в основу власного сюжету він поклав лейтмотив «Короля Ліра», запозичивши також декілька колізій. Аналіз цього фільму крізь призму запропонованого у теоретичному розділі алгоритму дає підстави вважати його ремінісцентною інтертекстуальною проєкцією трагедії В. Шекспіра «Король Лір».
