EN : The work is presented on 70 pages of printed text, contains 5 tables. The list of literature includes 66 sources, of which 38 are foreign and 19 for the last 5 years.
20 males and females aged 40-50 years were examined. The study material was venous blood (for immunological methods).
The aim of the study was to investigate the features of lymphocyte content and their cytomorphometric parameters in two age groups 40-45 and 45-50 years.
As a result of the analysis it was found that there is a significant difference in the number of lymphocytes and leukocytes in absolute units (Abs. Units) and their cytomorphometric parameters, namely the number of large lymphocytes. There were also insignificant, but noticeable deviations in the number of lymphocytes in percent (%), noticeable deviations in the number of small lymphocytes. There were also noticeable differences between the mean and marginal volumes of lymphocytes in these groups. This may indicate a relative decrease in immunity and immune responses in older people. More detailed results can be obtained using modern flow cytometers and methods of flow cytometry and mass cytometry.
