Abstract

EN : The work is represented on 77 pages of printed text. The list of references includes 69 sources. The presented paper is devoted to the analysis of such an actual problem as stylistic features of the depiction of the landscape in the novels of the Brontë sisters. The object of the study is defined as the depiction of the landscape in the novels of the Brontë sisters. The main aim of the work is revealing the stylistic features of landscape reproduction in the novels of the Brontë sisters. It determined the accomplishment of such objectives as: - explore the concept and essence of a literary text; - analyze the conceptual structure of the concept "Nature" in modern English; - determine the main types and functions of landscape descriptions in the literary text; - characterize the peculiarities of the artistic landscape in the works of E. Bronte and S. Bronte "Wuthering Heights" and "Jane Eyre". The landscape performs many functions depending on the conceptual design of the work, the author's idiostyle and literary direction. The functions of landscape descriptions in a literary text are diverse. Literary experts distinguish such functions as psychological, aesthetic, determining the place and time, the form of the author's presence, a means of developing the action, a means of expressing the main idea of the work. The scientific novelty of the research consists in a comprehensive approach to the study of stylistic features of the landscape image in the novels of the Brontë sisters. Scientific novelty is also determined by the fact that the research was carried out using the latest developments in the field of English stylistics.

Космеда), основні типи та функції пейзажних описів в художньому тексті, особливості художнього пейзажу в творах Е. Бронте та Ш. Бронте «Грозовий перевал» й «Джейн Ейр» (О. М. Ніколенко, В. І. Мацапура, О. С. Анненкова, О. Банровська). Отримані результати: сестри Бронте – видатні письменниці епохи Вікторіанства, які зробили вагомі внески у світову літературу. Емілі та Шарлотта Бронте у своїх творах «Грозовий перевал» та «Джейн Ейр» звертаються до пейзажу. Пейзажні замальовки в романах сестер Бронте створюють атмосферу для майбутніх подій. Вони або відповідають або контрастні їм. Для реалізації творчого задуму Емілі та Шарлотта Бронте використовують різноманітні стилістичні засоби: епітети, метафори, порівняння, протиставлення, уособлення, парафраз, іронія, градація та інше.
