UA : Актуальність теми дослідження. На міжнародній арені завжди існувала жорстка конкуренція між країнами. Дуже важливою для кожної країни є репутація, яка може впливати на економічне, політичне, культурне становище. Лідери ставлять в пріоритеті міжнародний імідж, щоб мати вплив на опонентів в багатьох галузях, тому що зі стабільним та передбачуваним об’єктом більш безпечно підписувати контракти, і вигідно вкладати кошти в його економіку та тільки до такої країни із задоволенням будуть їхати туристи. Країну можна розглядати, як продукт, який треба вигідно розрекламувати та «продати». Іншими словами потрібен бренд цієй країни, який впізнавали б закордоном. Плейсбрендинг — політичний інструмент, який використовують саме з цією метою. Для політичного суб’єкта важливо бути на «першій шпальті», привертати увагу, бути зрозумілою та привабливою для громадськості. Для формування такого іміджу потрібно постійно підтримувати зв'язок із людьми, а це можливо завдяки Інтернету, ЗМІ, телебаченню, радіо, книгодрукарні та кінематографу. Винахід кіно породив величезні очікування: песимісти вважали, що це буде надійною зброєю для маніпулювання масами, коли влада нав'язує домінуючу ідеологію в піддатливий розум народу, тоді як оптимісти думали, що кіно зруйнує кордони, викличе вибух співпереживання та покладе край ідеології. Реальність проігнорувала одних і інших, щоб, як завжди, обрати економний курс дій: не так сильно щось змінювати. З тих пір кіно стало засобом пропаганди влади, але воно також сприяло соціальним змінам і попереджало світ про економічні, політичні та соціальні проблеми. Але кіно є політичним не тільки за задумом, а й випадково: фільми є відображенням суспільства, отже, вони пронизані його ідеями, його страхами, його уподобаннями, його упередженнями і його політичними ідеями. Кіно і політика пов'язані складними відносинами, про які можна було б написати від однієї до тисячі статей. Кіномистецтво – це важливий елемент в практиці плейсбрендингу, адже завдяки тому, як країну зображають на екрані, залежить, як її приймуть у світі. Більший відсоток людей, які відносяться до середнього або низького класу не мають можливості особисто відвідати інші країни, а фільми дозволяють їм пізнати незнайомі культуру, менталітет, звичаї, людей. Кінематограф – одне і найвеличніших винаходів людства, яке може впливати на політику, великі маси людей та історію. У цьому дослідженні планується розкрити сенс плейсбрендингу, та більше детально розібрати вплив кінематографа на імідж Іспанії, Франції та Великобританії на міжнародній арені. Мета дослідження: на основі аналізу широкого комплексу джерел, дослідити особливості формування міжнародного іміджу країн Європи, засобами кінематографії, на прикладі: Іспанії, Франції та Великобританії Завданнями даної роботи є: a) Виявити значення плейсбрендингу b) Проаналізувати дослідження науковців, які займалися вивченням плейсбрендингу c) Дослідити виникнення та розвиток кінематографу в Іспанії, Франції та Великобританії d) Провести аналіз, як саме відображаються досліджувані країни у світі через кінематограф. Територіальні рамки. Іспанія знаходиться на значній частині Піренейського півострова, на південному заході Європи, та має у свої власності Гібралтарську протоку та вихід до Атлантичного океану. Територія Франції простягається на західній частині материка, що дозволяє мати вихід до Атлантичного океану, Середземного моря і через Ла-Манш до Північного моря. Великобританія розташована на Британських островах, на північному заході від континентальної Європи, і омивається Атлантичним Океаном, Північним морем, Англійським каналом та Ірландським морем. Хронологічні межі. Днем появи нового виду мистецтва вважається 28 грудня 1895 року, коли Брати Люмьєр продемонстрували синематограф в Парижі. І аналізуємо, як саме кіно впливає на міжнародний імідж країн, та як їх сприймають на міжнародній арені, з чим вони асоціюються, які символи та ярлики їм надягає громадськість.

In our modern not simple world, knowing a few elementary stereotypes that affect our consciousness, although we almost do not notice it. A large number of people in many countries do not even show interest in their own countries, not to mention all other countries from all over the world. People are more focused on solving their own problems, building relationships, and improving their lives. Sometimes they mention Spain, the United Kingdom, France, or other countries that are constantly broadcast in the news. People sometimes think of neighboring countries or those where friends or relatives live, or those where they would like to relax during their vacation. Quite often, the population learns information about other countries through communication tools that create a general picture of the world: through the media, television, the Internet, TV series and movies. It is through these powerful information channels that we usually understand the world around us, interact with it, create our own understanding of countries and their society, deepen this knowledge and build new stereotypes. The complexity of determining the positive use of cinema in shaping the international image of a country as an effective tool in the practice of placebrand has rarely been considered as an integral subject of analysis. The main goal of creating a positive image of the country in modern conditions of globalization is acceptance by international audiences in order to achieve a successful result. Success for the welfare of the state can be considered the solution of internal, external, political, economic, social and many other problems. It can also affect the situation in the international arena. A well-formed image will help impose the necessary vision of the country on the world, while at the same time teaching the country's population and state bodies to change their domestic and foreign policies in order for them to correctly fulfill the tasks and goals inherent in the new image. It is necessary to decide wisely and carefully what means of communication with society to use so that the country appears in the best possible light in front of an international audience. Using general scientific (logical and systematization), special historical (historical-comparative, problem-chronological) and chronological methods, it became possible to analyze and determine the role of cinema in placebrand. Cinema was often, actively and openly, used as a propaganda tool in the interests of maintaining the ruling regime, as in 1936 during the Franco dictatorship, and putting its opponents in a negative light in the eyes of its people during the wars and violent confrontations of the twentieth century. Now it is once again rising in a positive light, one of the art forms that can inspire viewers to take any action, such as traveling around the world, thereby performing a cognitive function. At the same time, an attractive image of a country is formed if the film portrays it as safe, interesting and exciting. Today, attention is focused on those features that are relevant to solving global problems of humanity. We can distinguish such things as a tolerant attitude to any ethnic minority; the presence of spiritual experience of civilization; open contact with the surrounding world; finding solutions to the problem; without using force or pressure on developing countries; actively fighting terrorism, drug trafficking and environmental disasters; enriching the cultural world and caring for the environment. It is this image that countries will consider positive, correct, attractive and reliable in the international arena. Taking this into account, the master's thesis defines the importance of the country's image in the international arena and the tools for its formation, which include information and communication technologies, including targeted information flows and the creation of a powerful information network near the subject of placebrand. The image is an integral part of the country's reputation accumulation, an indispensable component and at the same time an effective tool of the "soft power" of state policy, which functions at the rational and emotional-psychological level and has an impact on the country's development. If viewed through the prism of international relations, the image can cause great losses and add to the list of achievements, because the interaction between the main subjects of international relations can be understood as the vision of one country to another. Individual popular films that are gaining great popularity will not be able to cope with large-scale activities to maintain the country's image and fight for an external "buyer". Then you can face the problem of developing national cinema, because you need a high level of skill. Only such cinema can become a powerful tool for strengthening national identity. Filmmakers portray the positive and negative qualities of their country, demonstrate problems in various industries, or lack thereof, and create an image that can attract investors, tourists, and the workforce. People watching the film draw conclusions about the economic situation, street safety, urban metal content, environmental cleanliness, and so on. For example, Great Britain is often associated with royal luxury, rainy weather, low-key people and incomparable landscapes. Spain is a country of passion and Fire, where women in red dresses dance flamenco in spacious squares, and brave Matadors will undoubtedly go out to fight a powerful bull in a bullfight. France is often depicted as a place where only bright romantic feelings are born to calm music on the Champs-Elysees under the Eiffel Tower. But the downside is a developed network of organized crime with a mysterious dark underground world. We can conclude that cinema is an important element of the cultural sphere of any country. He has a great influence on its reputation in the international arena, because thanks to him, the country can show its inner world, share values, traditions and position. Quite often, public opinion about a country is based on films, thanks to veiled propaganda techniques, deliberate or spontaneous creation of stereotypes, and political overtones will not always be present.
