Abstract
EN : The work is presented on 54 pages, printed text, 9 tables, 9 figures. The list of references includes 60 sources. The object of the study is the psychological determinants of the course of pregnancy. The problem of protecting motherhood and childhood in recent years has become increasingly important in Ukraine. The difficult demographic situation with negative natural population growth is steadily persisting and is complicated by the negative balance of demographic indicators and population migration as a result of the war. A full-scale war creates a specific context for the course of pregnancy due to multiple stressors, including - a threat to life, air raids, losses, forced displacement, economic instability, disruption of access to medical services, family separation, and an increased level of uncertainty. The results of the analysis of the impact of armed conflicts on the psycho-emotional state of pregnant women demonstrate that exposure to war and hostilities is associated with an increased risk of a number of adverse pregnancy outcomes, namely prematurity, low body weight, the threat of early or late abortion, the threat of premature birth, placental dysfunction and gestosis, as well as higher anxiety indicators (according to the Spielberger-Khanin scale). The general data of the studies of Ukrainian scientists additionally emphasize the neuropsychological and hormonal mechanisms of the impact of psycho-emotional stress of war on pregnant women and newborns. In these conditions, the study of psychological factors that affect the course of pregnancy and childbirth deserves special attention. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the analysis and empirical substantiation of the impact of psychological factors on complications of pregnancy during war.
