Фразеологічні та пареміологічні засоби актуалізації концепту ENGLAND в сучасній англійській мові

Abstract

UA : Дипломна робота – 70 стор., 70 джерел, додаток. Об’єкт дослідження: вербалізований в англійській мові концепт “England”. Предмет дослідження: дослідження репрезентації концепту “England” в широкому спектрі лінгвістичних одиниць, насамперед фразеологізмів і паремій. Мета дослідження: ґрунтовний аналіз концепту “Еngland” та засобиів його вербалізаціі за допомогою англомовних фразеології і паремі Теоретико-методологічні засади: ключові положення теорії дискурсу, розроблені в лінгвістиці (Л. Лисиченко, М. Приходько, М. Скаб, K. Fox, S. Granger та ін.). Отримані результати: фразеологічні одиниці, як відображають англійську національну ідентичність надають мовленню жвавості, образності та виразності, наголошують на конкретних аспектах картини світу англійців. Ці ФО чітко інтерпретують менталітет мовної спільноти, сприйняття ним подій історії та сучасної дійсності. Результати, отримані при дослідженні вербалізації англійської національної ідентичності через призму паремій, відображають: двоїстий характер лексем концептосфери, зумовлений наявністю в їх семантиці логіко-понятійної та емоційної частин; багатовимірність концептосфери, куди входять уявлення про саму англійську ідентичність, про англійськість, Англію та англійців; багатоознаковість; високу семіотичну щільність засобів маніфестації. Втілення концепту «Країна» загалом і концепту “England”, зокрема, в англійській мовній картині світу тісно пов’язане з відносинами між людьми у народі й у зв’язку з цим виходить далеко за межі суто лінгвістичних проблем, оскільки відображає традиції, історію, вірування, менталітет ангійців, образи, ідеї, поведінку, які лежать в основі номінації, та відображає способи побудови внесених у лексичну одиницю концептів, відображаючи певні психолінгвістичні реальності. Таким чином, результати дослідження підтверджують, що фразеологізми та паремії є важливими носіями національно-культурної інформації та відіграють ключову роль у формуванні мовної картини світу англійців. Аналіз цих мовних одиниць дозволяє глибше зрозуміти специфіку концепту “England” як складного ментально-культурного утворення, що поєднує історичні, соціальні та ціннісні компоненти.EN : The presented paper is devoted to the analysis of such a topical problem as the verbalization of the concept “England” in the English language. Object of research: the concept of “England” verbalized in English. Subject of research: study of the representation of the concept of “England” in a wide range of linguistic units, primarily phraseological units and paremics. Purpose of research: a thorough analysis of the concept of “England” and the means of its verbalization using English phraseological units and paremics. To achieve the specified рurpose of the study, it is necessary to solve the following tasks: 1) to investigate the concept of a concept as a unit of linguistics; 2) to characterize the features of phraseological units and paremias as units of verbalization; 3) to analyze the cultural and linguistic specificity of the concept “England”; 4) to describe the sources and methodology for selecting factual material; 5) to characterize phraseological units as representatives of the concept “England”; 6) to investigate paremias as a reflection of English national identity; 7) to interpret the results of the analysis. Phraseological units, as they reflect the English national identity, give speech liveliness, imagery and expressiveness, emphasize specific aspects of the world picture of the English. These phraseological units clearly interpret the mentality of the speech community, its perception of historical events and modern reality. The results obtained in the study of the verbalization of the English national identity through the prism of paremias reflect: the dual nature of the lexemes of the concept sphere, due to the presence of logical-conceptual and emotional parts in their semantics; the multidimensionality of the concept sphere, which includes ideas about the English identity itself, about Englishness, England and the English; polysemy; high semiotic density of means of manifestation. Thus, the conducted research allows us to conclude that the concept “England” occupies a significant place in the English linguistic worldview and is characterized by a high degree of cultural and semantic saturation. The analysis of phraseological units and paremias has demonstrated that they function as effective means of verbalizing national identity, preserving historical experience, cultural values, and social stereotypes of the English people.
