Abstract
EN : The work is presented on 69 pages of printed text, contains 10 tables, 2 figures, 2 appendices. The list of references includes 75 sources. The object of the study is the process of psychosocial adaptation of children with autism spectrum disorders. Hippotherapy is a method of therapeutic influence on a person through horseback riding, which combines physiotherapeutic, psychological, pedagogical and social aspects. In interaction with a horse, the child's emotional and volitional processes are activated, social communication skills are developed, coordination and self-regulation of behavior are improved. Hippotherapy is especially effective when working with children with autistic disorders, since the horse, as an unusual but safe stimulus, contributes to the child's openness to contact with the environment. The relevance of the study is due to the need to expand approaches to the psychosocial adaptation of children with ASD, their integration into the social environment and improving the quality of life through the use of non-traditional therapeutic methods. Despite the growing interest in hippotherapy, its impact on the social and emotional aspects of the development of children with ASD has not been sufficiently studied in domestic psychological and pedagogical science. The scientific novelty lies in the need to study the impact of hippotherapy on children with ASD to improve psychosocial adaptation, as this method of therapy is gaining popularity in the modern world, shows its effectiveness in practical areas and is very widespread in European countrie.
