Abstract
EN : The work is presented on 62 pages of printed text, contains 5 tables, 5 figures. The list of references includes 45 sources. The object of the study is the psycho-emotional state of the individual. The Russian-Ukrainian war has become an unprecedented challenge for Ukrainian society, affecting every sphere of life and causing large-scale humanitarian, socio-psychological and demographic consequences. One of the most painful phenomena of the war is the stay of Ukrainian servicemen and civilians in Russian captivity. In recent years, thousands of Ukrainian families have faced long waiting, uncertainty, fear for the lives of loved ones and constant emotional exhaustion. The return of children, mostly servicemen, from captivity is an event that combines joy, relief and at the same time extreme psychological complexity for both the former prisoners themselves and their parents. Parents whose children were in captivity actually experience two layers of trauma: the trauma of expectation and uncertainty, and later the trauma of adaptation to reality, in which their child returns with a difficult experience of torture, violence, deprivation, and psychological pressure. After the return of such servicemen, families often find themselves in a situation of so-called “hidden traumatization,” when outwardly everything looks like a happy ending to the story, but within the family system there is high psycho-emotional tension, instability, and fear of a repeat of the danger. Parents become key figures who try to support the child, ensure safety, and help with readaptation, while at the same time overcoming their own experiences. This leads to the formation of exhaustion, anxiety disorders, increased stress levels, and symptoms of secondary traumatization. Scientific novelty: theoretical approaches to the interpretation of the psycho-emotional state of the individual are generalized; psycho-emotional states of the individual in conditions of psychological trauma have been further developed. For the first time, a comprehensive psychological support program has been developed and tested, aimed at reducing psycho-emotional stress and secondary traumatization of parents who are returning their child to life after captivity.
