Abstract
EN : The work consists of 101 pages, 10 tables, 1 figure, 5 appendices, and uses 69 literary sources, 15 of which are in foreign languages. The object of the study was tap water, purified tap water, well water, purified well water, surface water (river and sea water) in the city of Mykolaiv and the Mykolaiv district. The subject of the study was the bacteriological and chemical indicators of the water basin of the city of Mykolaiv and the Mykolaiv district. The research methods used were bacteriological, chemical, and mathematicalstatistical. The aim of the thesis was to study the dynamics of bacteriological and chemical indicators of different types of water in the city of Mykolaiv and the Mykolaiv district. The bacteriological and chemical composition of water samples has deteriorated significantly since 2022, which is associated with a change in the source of central water supply – the transition to technical water from the Bug Estuary and wells. In 2022-2025, there was a deterioration in bacteriological indicators in water samples, which also had critical exceedances or were characterized by instability in key salt and acid-alkaline indicators. The percentage of samples that did not meet quality standards decreased in the following order: surface water → tap water→water from wells → tap water with additional treatment → water from wells with additional treatment. The filtration systems installed for tap water and well water demonstrate high efficiency in improving water quality in terms of chemical indicators, but the level of bacterial contamination remains high.
