Abstract
ЕN : The master’s thesis examines the problem of ensuring the efficient operation of the asynchronous electric drive of a metal-chip shredder at JSC “INTERPIPE Dnipropetrovskvtormet” under conditions of poor-quality electrical energy. The research aims to modernize the electric drive through the integration of a frequency converter equipped with a microprocessor control system, as well as to develop a mathematical model of the induction motor capable of providing prompt evaluation of its energy indicators under arbitrary variations in supply parameters. The work includes an analysis of the regulatory framework related to power quality indicators, a generalization of known mathematical models of induction motors, and an investigation of the impact of power quality deviations on motor performance in both steady-state and transient modes. The enhanced electromagnetic model of the motor, developed on the basis of space–time complexes, makes it possible to account for voltage asymmetry and waveform distortion and to evaluate energy losses, spectral characteristics of currents, and electromagnetic torque.
