Abstract
EN : Qualification paper – 52 pages, 5 tables, 4 appendices, 67 sources. The aim of the study was to develop and experimentally verify the effectiveness of a method for developing special endurance in 8–9-year-old football players who are engaged in initial training groups. Object of the study – the process of physical training of young football players aged 8–9 years. Subject of the study – the influence of a specially developed set of exercises on the level of special endurance of young football players. Research methods: analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature; pedagogical testing; pedagogical observation; pedagogical experiment; methods of mathematical statistics. The study was conducted over three months at the Youth Sports School “Metalurh Zaporizhzhia.” A total of 24 football players aged 8–9 years participated and were evenly divided into a control group and an experimental group. The training process in both groups followed the standard initial training program in football. However, the experimental group additionally implemented a specially developed methodology aimed at improving special endurance, which included exercises in the format of interval workloads involving football-specific technical elements. To assess the effectiveness of the program, four tests were used: 600-meter run, 4×10 m shuttle run, dribbling between cones, and a modified children's version of the Yo-Yo test. Testing was conducted at the beginning and at the end of the experiment, and the results were processed using methods of mathematical statistics. The study showed statistically significant improvements in special endurance indicators in the experimental group. In particular, the time for the 600-meter run improved by 12.03% (p < 0.05), the shuttle run results – by 9.77% (p < 0.05), dribbling – by 8.74% (p < 0.05), and the Yo-Yo test – by 14.81% (p < 0.05). In the control group, the changes were less pronounced and not statistically significant. Comparative analysis confirmed the effectiveness of the experimental methodology, which can be recommended for implementation in the training process of initial football training groups in order to improve special endurance in children aged 8–9 years.
