Особливості уявлень про гендерну рівність у військовослужбовців

Abstract

У відповідь на російську агресію українське населення мобілізувалося для захисту нашої держави, зокрема чимало жінок, які стереотипно вважаються чужими у військовій сфері. За інформацією АрміяINFORM – онлайн-медіа Міністерства оборони України, кількість жінок-військовослужбовців у період з 2014 по 2023 рік зросла з 16,5 тис до 42 тис - більше ніж у 2 рази, тобто наша військова сфера фемінізується. Так, українське суспільство спостерігає, як все більше жінок беруться за традиційно “чоловічу” діяльність - оборону держави, що дозволяє змінити уявлення про розподіл гендерних ролей. Однак, наш суспільний устрій залишається патріархальним, а стан війни може навіть посилювати домінування чоловіків. Над рівністю прав та можливостей жінок та чоловіків в Україні наразі працюють як на рівні держави, так і громадського сектору. В обидвох вимірах відзначають зміни в становищі жінок внаслідок російсько-української війни, однак громадські діячі і діячки можуть реагувати на них максимально швидко, відкрито і критично. Тому розглянуто саме ставлення борчинь за права жінок до такого значного зсуву у гендерному балансі військової сфери. Також, на відміну від громадської думки щодо фемінізації української армії, твердження членкинь громадських, а саме жіночих правозахисних, організації на цю тему відображають більш практичний підхід, більшу обізнаність з темою та більш глибокий аналіз гендерних відносин. Тому аналіз ставлення до фемінізації української армії респонденток, залучених в діяльність спрямовану на боротьбу з нерівністю, дозволяє виявити загальні тенденції у трансформації положення жінок в соціальній структурі України в цілому і зокрема в армії, а також критично їх оцінити. Наукова новизна полягає в аналізі уявлень про гендерну рівність саме серед військовослужбовців України в умовах поточних соціальних трансформацій та бойових дій. Вивчення специфіки сприйняття гендерної рівності в різних підрозділах (бойові підрозділи, штабні структури, резерв тощо), оцінка впливу міжнародних стандартів на формування гендерної політики у збройних силах.EN : The work is presented on 67 pages of printed text, contains 2 tables, 1 figure, 1 appendix. In response to Russian aggression, the Ukrainian population mobilized to defend our state, including many women who are stereotypically considered strangers in the military sphere. According to ArmyINFORM - the online media of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the number of female military personnel in the period from 2014 to 2023 increased from 16.5 thousand to 42 thousand - more than 2 times, that is, our military sphere is feminizing. Thus, Ukrainian society is observing how more and more women are taking on traditionally “male” activities - the defense of the state, which allows us to change the idea of the distribution of gender roles. However, our social structure remains patriarchal, and the state of war may even strengthen the dominance of men. The equality of rights and opportunities of women and men in Ukraine is currently being worked on both at the state and public sector levels. In both dimensions, changes in the position of women as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war are noted, but public figures can react to them as quickly, openly and critically as possible. Therefore, the attitude of women's rights activists to such a significant shift in the gender balance of the military sphere is considered. Also, unlike public opinion regarding the feminization of the Ukrainian army, the statements of members of public, namely women's human rights, organizations on this topic reflect a more practical approach, greater awareness of the topic and a deeper analysis of gender relations. Therefore, an analysis of the attitude to the feminization of the Ukrainian army of respondents involved in activities aimed at combating inequality allows us to identify general trends in the transformation of the position of women in the social structure of Ukraine in general and in the army in particular, as well as to critically evaluate them. The scientific novelty lies in the analysis of perceptions of gender equality among Ukrainian military personnel in the context of current social transformations and hostilities. Studying the specifics of the perception of gender equality in various units (combat units, headquarters structures, reserve, etc.), assessing the impact of international standards on the formation of gender policy in the armed forces.
