Abstract

EN : The work is presented on 56 pages of printed text, contains 3 figures, 3 tables, 3 appendices. The list of references includes 59 sources. The object of the study: addictive behavior of youth in the digital gaming environment. The rapid development of the digital entertainment industry and the widespread spread of mobile technologies have led to significant changes in the leisure structure of modern youth. Video games have become not only a popular way of recreation, but also a full-fledged environment for socialization, self-expression and emotional regulation. At the same time, this has given rise to new psychological challenges, the key of which is the growth of the scale of behavioral addictions. The inclusion of gaming disorder in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) confirms the global scale of the problem at the level of the World Health Organization. Against this background, the phenomenon of so-called gacha games is becoming particularly acute. The specificity of these projects is the use of a system of random rewards, when the player spends real or virtual currency for the chance to get the desired character or game item. The psychological danger of gacha mechanics lies in their deep affinity with gambling. They exploit the same cognitive distortions: the illusion of control, the "gambling fallacy" and the effect of almost winning, activating the neuropsychological mechanisms of the reward system associated with dopaminergic regulation of behavior. Scientific novelty: for the first time, the affinity of gacha addiction mechanisms with gambling among young people has been empirically proven and the relationship between players' financial involvement and the risk of compulsive behavior has been analyzed.
