Abstract
EN : The work is presented on 45 pages of printed text, contains 8 tables, 7 appendices. The list of references includes 47 sources. The object of the study: emotional self-regulation of mental states in individuals with bipolar affective disorder. The current stage of development of Ukrainian society is characterized by a significant increase in the level of psycho-emotional tension, which is associated with a prolonged state of war, social instability, forced changes in living conditions and the constant influence of stress factors. In such conditions, the problem of emotional self-regulation of the individual as the ability to realize, control and correct one’s own emotional states in accordance with the requirements of the situation and internal needs becomes of particular importance. It is the effectiveness of self-regulation mechanisms that largely determines the level of psychological adaptation, stress resistance and mental well-being of a person. Particular attention is required for individuals with bipolar affective disorder (BAD), who are characterized by pronounced mood swings, increased emotional reactivity, instability of mental states and difficulties in controlling affective manifestations. Even during periods of remission, such individuals may have disturbances in emotional regulation, increased impulsivity, difficulties in overcoming stressful situations and a tendency to maladaptive coping strategies. In conditions of martial law, these manifestations may intensify, which negatively affects the psychological functioning of the individual and his social adaptation. The scientific novelty of the study lies in clarifying the features of psychological mechanisms of self-regulation of emotions in individuals with bipolar affective disorder in conditions of martial law, as well as in determining the relationship between difficulties in emotional regulation, coping strategies, impulsivity and locus of control.
