Abstract
EN : The work is presented on 91 pages, printed text, 4 tables, 10 figures, 6 appendices. The list of references includes 54 sources. The object of the study is the psychological aspects of alcohol and drug addiction. Alcohol and drug abuse is one of the main problems of modern society, which leads to serious social, economic and medical consequences and has an impact on the health, productivity and social integration of people with addiction. The use of psychoactive substances is often accompanied by changes in the emotional and volitional sphere, which can lead to the development of mental disorders, reduced self-control, increased anxiety and depression. This factor makes the study of the psychological aspects of addiction extremely important for understanding and providing effective psychological assistance. In particular, knowledge of the psychological characteristics of people who use alcohol and drugs helps in creating individualized approaches to therapy and rehabilitation, which increases their effectiveness. Understanding emotional and volitional mechanisms can contribute to the development of strategies for overcoming addiction. The study of the emotional-volitional sphere aims to identify factors that contribute to relapses and develop measures to prevent them, which includes the development of self-control skills, stress resistance and adaptation to life difficulties without the use of psychoactive substances. The study of psychological aspects allows us to understand how addiction affects the ability of individuals to social integration and interaction with others, contributes to the development of social support and reintegration programs that help addicted individuals return to normal life. The scientific novelty lies in determining the need to use psychotherapeutic methods to restore the emotional-volitional sphere of individuals who use alcohol and drugs.
