Abstract
EN : The work is presented on 71 pages, printed text, 8 figures, 2 tables. The list of references includes 52 sources. The object of the study is loneliness as a socio-psychological phenomenon. significant and rapid changes in value orientations and financial and political priorities caused by the military conflict in eastern Ukraine led to a sharp increase in forced migration at the end of 2014. Under the influence of adverse military, political and social factors, a large number of people from the eastern regions were forced to integrate into other communities. According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (as of November 2019), over the six years of the war in Donbas, the number of internally displaced persons reached 1.3 million. In 2022, as a result of a full-scale war, the number of internally displaced persons is 4.9 million people. It is known that internally displaced persons are people who were forced to leave their homes (places of residence) to avoid the consequences of military conflict (violence, human rights violations, use of weapons), natural disasters or man-made disasters, without crossing the state border. It is believed that people who have experienced forced migration and extreme situations have certain psychological characteristics related to worldview, depression of mental functions and the presence of psychological trauma. Our society is going through a difficult period: military aggression, violation of territorial integrity, significant human losses in the combat zone, forced resettlement from these territories, loss of homes, loved ones, as well as the opportunity to lead a normal life and work. A large part of the population is faced with the mental and physical consequences of the conflict, experiencing constant fear for themselves and their relatives, disorientation, increased stress disorders and difficulties in adapting to new living conditions. The conflict continues, and its end is difficult to predict, which only increases fear, anxiety, disappointment and disintegration of society. People are forced to leave their homes and move to other cities or countries to ensure safety for themselves and their children. They are forced to adapt to new living conditions, look for and equip new homes, find new jobs, learn the language in foreign countries and establish relationships with the local population, accept the rules and norms of the society in which they find themselves, and adapt to the new social environment. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the justification and development of ways to improve the regulation of the features of the application of coping strategies of the socio-psychological characteristics of loneliness in adulthood in internally displaced persons from Ukraine in conditions of military conflict.
