Abstract
EN : The master's thesis investigates the principles of architectural and landscape organization of territories adjacent to shopping and entertainment centers (SECs) by analyzing international environmental standards (BREEAM, LEED) and developing project proposals for the "Riverville" SEC (Uzhhorod). It has been established that the existing practice of landscaping commercial facilities is often characterized by the dominance of asphalt surfaces and a lack of recreational potential, which leads to the "heat island" effect and reduced visitor comfort due to surface overheating and air pollution. It has been determined that the application of complex territory zoning and the use of modern landscape design tools allows for mitigating the negative impact of transport and integrating the object into the urban environment. It has been proven that the implementation of the proposed solutions using resilient plant species improves the microclimate of the territory, increases the social and commercial attractiveness of the SEC, and ensures the facility's compliance with modern sustainable development standards.
