Дослідження сорому та його уникнення в юнацькому віці має важливе значення з кількох причин. По-перше, сором - це поширена емоція, яка може негативно вплинути на самопочуття, самооцінку та соціальні стосунки підлітків. По-друге, підлітки особливо вразливі до сорому через фізичні, емоційні та соціальні зміни, які вони переживають у цей час. По-третє, розуміння того, як підлітки переживають сором і як вони його уникають, може допомогти нам розробити програми профілактики та втручання, спрямовані на допомогу їм впоратися з соромом і покращити їхнє психічне здоров'я. Наукова новизна: полягає у виявленні зв’язку між рівнем самооцінки, та впливу зовнішніх факторів на почуття сорому та його уникнення в юнацькому віці.EN : The work is presented on 72 pages of printed text, 3 figures, 4 tables, 2 appendices. The list of references includes 16 sources. The object of research: the phenomenon of shame in youth. Research on shame and avoidance in adolescence is important for several reasons. First, shame is a common emotion that can negatively affect adolescents' well-being, self-esteem, and social relationships. Second, adolescents are particularly vulnerable to shame because of the physical, emotional, and social changes they are going through at this time. Third, understanding how adolescents experience shame and how they avoid it can help us design prevention and intervention programs to help them cope with shame and improve their mental health. Scientific novelty: it consists in revealing the connection between the level of self-esteem and the influence of external factors on the feeling of shame and its avoidance in youth.
