Abstract
EN : Staff motivation is one of the key factors for the effective operation of an enterprise, as the quality of task execution and the achievement of strategic goals depend on the level of employee engagement and interest. This is especially true for non-industrial enterprises, such as those in trade, services, education, and healthcare, where the results of activity are directly determined by the work of personnel and their interaction with clients. Motivation is a combination of internal and external factors that drive an employee to perform productively. It is divided into material and non-material, internal and external motivation. Material incentives include wages, bonuses, rewards, and social benefits, while non-material incentives include recognition, praise, career growth opportunities, and comfortable working conditions. Internal motivation arises from the employee’s own desire to work, while external motivation is formed under the influence of rewards and social factors. Modern theories of motivation, particularly those of Maslow, Herzberg, and McGregor, help to understand the mechanisms of work stimulation and to build an effective motivation system. Practice shows that combining material and non-material incentives, as well as internal and external motivation, significantly increases labor productivity. This is especially important for non-industrial enterprises where personnel are the main resource. Thus, staff motivation is a strategic tool for improving labor productivity and the competitiveness of an enterprise. An effective motivation system creates conditions for professional development, increases employee engagement, and contributes to achieving high performance results in the organization’s work. Research objective: to determine the role of staff motivation as a factor in improving labor productivity using the example of the ATB enterprise and to develop recommendations for improving the motivation system. Object of research: the staff motivation system of the ATB enterprise.
