Специфіка і функції шекспірівського інтертексту в романі Джаспера Ффорде “Something Rotten”

UA : Дипломна робота – 71 стор., 59 джерел Об’єкт дослідження: шекспірівська інтертекстуальність у романі Джаспера Ффорде “Somethning Rotten”. Мета роботи: з’ясувати специфіку і функції шекспірівського інтертексту у романі Джаспера Ффорде “Something Rotten”. Теоретико-методологічні засади: концепції інтертекстуальності (Ю. Крістєва, М. Барт, Ж. Женетт), постмодерністські теорії (Ж. Дерріда) та теорії діалогічності й метатекстуальності (М. Бахтін, Ю. Лотман). Отримані результати: знайомство з сучасним науковими дискурсом дозволило продемонструвати, що інтертекстуальність є невід’ємною складовою сучасного літературного процесу, яка формує смисловий простір текстів через діалог із класичною спадщиною. Також були узагальнені концепції Юлії Крістєвої, Михайла Бахтіна, Роберта Барта та інших, що дозволило сформувати алгоритм аналізу інтертекстуальності в сучасній літературі. Проаналізовано способи використання мотивів і сюжетів Шекспіра у романі Д. Ффорде. Зокрема, встановлено, що його твір активно взаємодіє зі спадщиною шекспірівських п’єс, інтегруючи цитати, алюзії, ремінісценції. Також було розкрито, як Ффорде за допомогою метатекстуальних прийомів коментує і осмислює літературну традицію, підкреслюючи її значення для сучасної культури.EN : The presented paper is dedicated to the analysis of Jasper Fforde’s novel “Something Rotten” and the way the author uses the elements of intertextuality. The object of the research is the usage of Shakespearian intertextuality in Jasper Fforde’s novel and what effect it achieves. The main aim of the study is to explore how intertextual elements of Shakespearian plays can enhance the local narrative of the novel “Something Rotten”. It determined the accomplishment of such objectives as: • analysing the concept of intertextuality; • creating an algorithm for intertextual analysis of the literary work; • analysing the elements of Shakespearian intertextuality in the novel. The theoretical basis combines the concept of intertextuality by J. Kristieva and M. Bart, the postmodern theories of J. Derrida, and the concepts of metatex by Y. Lotman. Intertextuality is an integral component of the modern literary process that shapes the semantic space of texts through a dialogue with classical heritage. The study summarizes the concepts of intertextuality, which allowed for the development of an algorithm for analyzing intertextuality in literature. In particular, it was established that the work of Jasper Fforde actively interacts with the legacy of Shakespearean plays, integrating quotes, allusions, and reminiscences. It was also explored how Fforde, through metatextual techniques, comments on and reflects upon literary tradition, emphasizing its significance for contemporary culture.
