Влив ЗМІ на формування громадської думки в контексті сучасної війни в Україні

Abstract

UA : Метою дослідження є визначення основних функцій та технологій впливу ЗМІ у контексті російсько-української війни, аналіз їхньої ролі у формуванні громадської думки, протидії дезінформації та забезпеченні інформаційної безпеки держави.Проведене дослідження дозволило комплексно розглянути вплив засобів масової інформації на формування громадської думки в умовах сучасної війни в Україні, визначити теоретико-методологічні основи, проаналізувати особливості функціонування ЗМІ як інструменту політичної комунікації та інформаційного спротиву, а також окреслити практичні напрямки їх оптимізації.EN : The modern war in Ukraine has become not only a battlefield for the military, but also an arena for information warfare, where the media (mass media) play a key role. In conditions of hybrid aggression, when information becomes a weapon, the role of the mass media in shaping public opinion, mobilizing society, and countering hostile propaganda is of particular importance. The war currently taking place in Ukraine is not only combat operations on the battlefield, but also a struggle for people's consciousness in the information space. The Russian-Ukrainian war, which has been going on since 2014 and became full-scale in 2022, is a vivid example of how the media are becoming an important tool for influencing public opinion, mobilizing society, supporting the international community, and countering hostile propaganda. The mass media play a key role in shaping public sentiment, disseminating truthful information, and combating disinformation. In times of war, Ukrainian media not only perform the function of operational information, but also become a component of the state's information security, contributing to the consolidation of the nation and the formation of international support for Ukraine. At the same time, the information space becomes a field for information and psychological operations, manipulations and propaganda attacks, which creates significant challenges for the media, authorities and civil society. The relevance of the research topic is due to the fact that the media in Ukraine have found themselves at the epicenter of the information confrontation, where they not only cover events, but also actively influence their development. In the context of war, when society needs reliable information, and the enemy is trying to spread disinformation, the role of the media becomes critically important for ensuring national security and preserving the unity of the country. That is why the analysis of the role of the media in the conditions of modern war, their impact on public consciousness, as well as the importance of developing effective mechanisms for countering information threats is especially important for our state in the context of the national security of Ukraine.
