Abstract
EN : The work is presented on 78 pages of printed text, contains 6 figures, 21 tables, 4 appendices. The list of references includes 78 sources. The object of the study: the phenomenon of professional identity. Dynamic socio-economic changes in modern society lead to increased demands on specialists, especially in areas related to high social responsibility. In this context, professional identity appears as a key factor that ensures not only personal self-realization, but also the effective performance of professional functions. This is of particular importance in extreme areas of activity, which include law enforcement agencies. Here, professional identity is formed under the influence of unique and often extreme conditions that require a specialist to have a high level of psychological stability, moral certainty and willingness to take risks. The professional activities of law enforcement officers are characterized by tension, responsibility and the need for constant contact with crisis situations. In these conditions, professional identity ceases to be just a matter of self-awareness. It becomes a key mechanism that regulates behavior, motivates to serve, and helps overcome the effects of stress. The absence of a formed identity or its deformation can lead to professional burnout, reduced efficiency, violation of discipline, and ultimately to a crisis in the professional sphere. The scientific novelty lies in determining the relationship between the level of professional identity, the structure of professional motivation, and manifestations of the burnout syndrome of law enforcement officers in modern conditions of activity. A psychological support program has also been developed aimed at developing professional self-awareness, preventing deformations, and increasing professional efficiency.
