EN : The qualification work consists of an introduction, 2 parts, conclusions, a list of references (62 items). Volunteering is considered to be one of the areas of voluntary social work that is designed to help improve the quality of life of citizens, personal development and meet their needs. The purpose of the study: to identify and analyse the social and pedagogical mechanisms of volunteering in the context of military aggression against Ukraine. The reseach tasks: 1. Define the concept of research. 2. To study the stages of formation and development of volunteering in Ukraine. 3. To characterise the regulatory framework of volunteering as a social practice in the context of military aggression. 4. To identify the features of volunteering in the context of military aggression. 5. To develop methodological advice on the organisation and motivation of volunteers. The object of research: the process of formation and development of volunteering as a social practice in Ukraine. The subject of the research is social and pedagogical mechanisms of volunteering in the context of military aggression against Ukraine. Part 1 “Theoretical foundations for the study of volunteering as a social practice in the context of military aggression against Ukraine” considers the actualisation of the problem of social practices of volunteering during the war is extremely important. Social practices of volunteering in the context of military aggression are various actions aimed at supporting the military and civilians. These practices cover a wide range of activities, from providing medical care to organising humanitarian support and psychological assistance. Volunteering is an opportunity to support, care for and provide assistance to those in need, carried out by individuals or groups at the community, district, city or state level. Part 2 “Social practice and mechanisms of volunteering in the context of military aggression” examines the main characteristics of volunteering as a social practice: voluntariness, social orientation, selflessness, collectivity and diversity of forms. Participation in volunteer activities should be based on personal initiative and a desire to help without coercion or expectation of material reward. Volunteer activities should be aimed at solving urgent social problems, such as helping the military, supporting internally displaced persons, evacuating people from the war zone, providing psychological support and meeting basic needs of the population. This allows us to mobilise resources, ensure the coordinated work of volunteers and provide the necessary assistance where it is needed most. The conditions for supporting the activities of volunteers and volunteer programmes are a set of external and internal factors that determine the effectiveness of their work. These factors can be divided into two groups: objective and subjective. Objective conditions are provided directly by the organisation that hosts the volunteer group. Subjective conditions are related to the personal qualities of volunteers. Identifying the personal qualities of volunteers, such as integrity, attentiveness, openness and frankness, is a key aspect of a successful volunteer programme. The practical significance of the study lies in the development of methodological advice on the management of volunteer activities in the context of military aggression against Ukraine.
