Abstract
EN : The thesis comprises 60 pages, 2 tables, 7 figures, with 76 literature sources, 12 of which are in foreign languages. The object of the study is the soil mesofauna of agrocoenoses and natural biotopes (in particular, forest belts). The subject of the study is the taxonomic composition, quantitative indicators, biodiversity (using Shannon, Pielou, and Simpson indices), and functional structure (phytophages, zoophages, saprophages) of the soil mesofauna in a spring wheat agrocoenosis and an adjacent forest belt. Research methods included generally accepted entomological methods for studying litter mesofauna, material collection in field conditions, and statistical data processing. The aim of our work was to assess the functional structure and biodiversity of soil mesofauna in a spring wheat agrocoenosis and an adjacent forest belt as indicators of the ecological state and stability of the agricultural landscape in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Differences in the functional structure of the mesofauna (ratio of phytophages, zoophages, and saprophages) between the anthropogenically altered agrocoenosis and the natural refuge were identified and analyzed, expanding the understanding of the ecological roles of these groups under different conditions. The study allowed for the identification of taxonomic groups that dominate or are completely absent under conditions of intensive anthropogenic impact (e.g., dominance of Lycosidae in the field and absence of Miridae, Tingidae, Forficulidae, etc.), which can serve as indicators of soil ecological status.
