Abstract
EN : The work is presented on 94 pages, printed text, 16 figures, 2 tables, 4 appendices. The list of references includes 51 sources. The object of the study: psychological characteristics of a family with children with special educational needs. The topic of psychological support for families with children with special educational needs in the conditions of war in Ukraine is extremely relevant, since the war situation creates numerous challenges for such families. In the conditions of martial law in the country, extreme, not typical for the norm of life situations often occur, which carry a huge potential for stress and psychological trauma. The psychological state of children and their parents can significantly deteriorate due to a constant feeling of anxiety, stress, alienation, a sense of uncertainty, lack of resources, both financial and moral, as well as risks associated with security. Constant anxiety, difficulties in solving everyday issues and the crisis in the sphere of social support from the state cause psycho-emotional stress not only in children with disabilities, but also in their parents. Forced struggle with difficult circumstances exhausts them twice as much, which ultimately leads to the development of emotional burnout syndrome. The scientific novelty lies in the results of the conducted theoretical and empirical study of the psycho-emotional state of parents of children with disabilities in the conditions of war in Ukraine.
