Abstract

EN : The work is presented on 78 pages of printed text, contains 3 figures, 10 tables. The list of references includes 75 sources. The object of the study is the psychological state of preschool children. Ukraine, like many other countries, is experiencing serious social, economic and psychological difficulties as a result of the war that began in 2014 and escalated in 2022. One of the most vulnerable segments of society is children, in particular, preschool children, who, due to their age, are unable to fully realize the scale of the military conflict, but deeply experience its consequences. Preschool age is an important stage in the formation of the foundations of a child's personality, and this period is characterized by high sensitivity to various external influences. Children at this age are particularly vulnerable to stressful situations and are able to experience strong emotional shocks. War, with its violent nature, destruction of familiar living conditions, separation from parents and loved ones, loss of homes and even physical injuries, can have a serious impact on the child's psyche, forming long-term emotional and behavioral disorders. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that the impact of war on the psychological state of preschool children has been theoretically substantiated and empirically investigated. The main areas of psychological assistance to preschool children who have undergone traumatic experiences have been identified and psychological recommendations for teachers and parents on working with children in stressful conditions have been developed.
