Abstract

UA : Об’єкт дослідження: нотаріальний переклад юридичних документів з української мови англійською. Мета роботи: виявлення та аналіз основних проблем нотаріального перекладу з української мови на англійську, а також розробка рекомендацій щодо їх подолання. Теоретико-методологічні засади: теоретичні положення термінознавства, розроблені Т. Кияком, В. Іващенко, О. Радченко, А. Суперанською, Н. Подольською, принципи перекладу, визначені К. Райс, В. Комісаровим, А.Нойбрехтом, А. Федоровим та іншими. Отримані результати: У результаті дослідження проаналізовано теоретичні аспекти нотаріального перекладу, включаючи специфіку офіційно-ділового стилю, труднощі перекладу та вимоги до відповідності документів. Виявлено, що нотаріальний переклад вимагає максимальної точності, збереження юридичної сили документа та дотримання міжнародних стандартів. Проаналізовано переклад різних типів особистих документів, таких як апостиль, паспорти, свідоцтва про народження, дипломи, з акцентом на правильну транслітерацію та юридичну термінологію. Зроблено висновок про ключову роль точності та адаптації перекладу до культурних і правових вимог. Перспективи дослідження включають переклад юридичних, фінансових, медичних і корпоративних документів.EN : The paper deals with theoretical and practical issues of notarized Ukrainian-English translation. The research provides theoretical foundations of notarized translation. Chapter 1 examines the official-administrative style, a linguistic style characterized by its precision, formality, and adherence to established conventions. The chapter discusses how this style influences the translation of documents, particularly in legal and notarial contexts, where clarity and accuracy are paramount. It also presents the concept of "Notarized Translation" and Its Specificity: it defines the notion of notarized translation, highlighting its distinct features compared to general translation practices. The chapter explores the regulatory frameworks governing notarized translation and its role in ensuring the accuracy and legal equivalence of the translated documents. Chapter 1 also shows Challenges and Difficulties of Notarized Translation. Chapter 2 presents practical analysis of Notarized Personal Document Translation from Ukrainian to English. It concentrates on the Translation of Elements Reproduced According to Special Rules. This section focuses on the translation of specific elements within personal documents that require adherence to particular rules or conventions. These include names, dates, official titles, and standardized phrases that must be accurately reflected in the translation. It also highlights the Specifics of Translating Certain Types of Personal Documents, emphasizing the importance of correctly translating legal terminology and maintaining the confidentiality and accuracy of the information contained within these documents.
