Abstract
ЕN : The qualification thesis is dedicated to the development of an automated system for recognising the granulometric composition of bulk materials transported by belt conveyors in metallurgical production. The study emphasises the importance of monitoring the particle size of sinter, pellets, ore and other bulk components of the burden, as their granulometric composition significantly affects burden permeability, blast furnace stability, product quality and the energy efficiency of technological units.
