Abstract

EN : The work is presented on 63 pages of printed text, includes 2 tables, 11 figures. The list of references includes 56 sources, 14 of which are in foreign languages. The object of the study is the population of wild boar in the territory of Dnipropetrovska oblast. The subject of the study is the analysis of the population dynamics, determination of the causes of death, craniometric characteristics, biotopic distribution and study of changes in the structure of wild boar herds in study area. The aim of our work was to study the main biological indicators of wild boar in the territory of Dnipropetrovska oblast. The research methods include the method of noise runs, analysis of literature sources, reports of nature reserves, questionnaires, and statistical analysis. The relevance of the study is due to the recent increase in the wild boar population and their expansion into new, including anthropogenically altered, territories. One of the forms of existence of the species is the concentration of livestock in hunting farms with artificial feeding. The novelty of the work lies in the analysis of the number of wild boar for 15 years, as well as the study of its craniometric characteristics and biotopic distribution in habitats by seasons. The theoretical and practical significance of the work is that the data obtained clearly reflect the state of the wild boar population in the study area and can be used in hunting grounds to plan measures aimed at maintaining the animal population.UA : Робота представлена на 63 сторінках друкованого тексту, включає 2 таблиці, 11 рисунків. Предметом дослідження є аналіз динаміки чисельності, визначення причин загибелі, краніометричних ознак, біотопічного розподілу та вивчення змін у структурі черід кабана на досліджуваній території. Метою нашої роботи було вивчення основних біологічних показників дикого кабана на території Дніпропетровської області. Методи дослідження включають метод шумового прогону, аналіз літературних джерел, звітності заповідників, анкетування, статистичний аналіз. Актуальність дослідження зумовлена нещодавнім зростанням популяції кабанів та їхньою експансією на нові, зокрема антропогенно змінені, території. Однією з форм існування виду стало зосередження поголів’я у мисливських господарствах з штучною годівлею тварин. Новизна роботи полягає в аналізі чисельності дикого кабана за 15 років, а також дослідженні його краніометричних ознак та біотопічного розподілу у біотопах по сезонам року. Теоретичне і практичне значення роботи полягає в тому, що отримані дані наочно відображають стан популяції кабана в регіоні дослідження та можуть бути використані в мисливських господарствах для планування заходів, спрямованих на підтримку популяції тварин.
