Об’єкт дослідження: дослідити роман “The ABC Murders” А. Крісті у інтерпретації сучасного аніме.
Мета роботи: дослідження полягає у тому, щоб з’ясувати прийоми та методи перенесення літературного матеріалу на екран у форматі аніме, а також виявити зміни у змістовних і формальних аспектах роману, зумовлених національною специфікою жанру японської мультиплікації..
Теоретико-методологічні засади: основні положення теорії інтермедіальності, адаптації та культурної трансформації. У роботі використовувалися праці дослідників кінематографічних адаптацій, аніме-культури та літературного аналізу (А. Вергара, A. Зайні, Л. Хатчеон, М. Стейнберг, С. Норріса, Н.О Медвідя, Д. Картмелла).
Отримані результати: у ході аналізу анімаційної адаптації роману А. Крісті “The ABC Murders” в аніме-серіалі “Agatha Christie’s Great Detectives Poirot and Marple” було виявлено особливості трансформації сюжетно-образного матеріалу у новому культурному контексті. Анімаційний серіал адаптує класичний твір до естетики японської анімації, зберігаючи основні події та мотиви, але вводячи характерні для аніме прийоми: використання насиченої кольорової палітри для передачі емоційної атмосфери, акцент на міжособистісних зв’язках та емоційних реакціях героїв. Цей підхід дозволяє не лише зберегти дух оригіналу, а й зробити сюжет доступнішим і ближчим до сучасної аудиторії, створюючи новий рівень міжкультурного діалогу.
EN : The presented paper is dedicated to the analysis of to the analysis of the transformation of Agatha Christie’s novel “The ABC Murders” in the context of Japanese anime culture, as reflected in the anime series “Agatha Christie’s Great Detectives Poirot and Marple”. The object of the work can be focuses on the adaptation of the novel “The ABC Murders” by Agatha Christie into the format of contemporary Japanese animation. The main aim of the research is to analyze the specifics of adapting a classic literary work within the framework of Japanese animation, identifying new elements introduced into the plot, character portrayals, and audiovisual presentation, as well as their impact on the overall perception of the work. It determined the accomplishment of such objectives as: analysis and systematization of theoretical frameworks concerning intermediality, adaptation, and cultural transformation; investigation of works by researchers on film adaptations, anime culture, and literary analysis (A. Vergara, A. Zaini, L. Hutcheon, M. Steinberg, S. Norris, N.O. Medvid, and D. Cartmell); еxploration of how classic literary works are adapted and transformed within new cultural and artistic contexts. The findings reveal that the animated adaptation of "The ABC Murders" reinterprets the plot and characters within a new cultural context, retaining the essence of the original while incorporating distinct anime techniques. These include the use of vibrant color palettes to convey emotional atmosphere, an emphasis on interpersonal relationships, and the emotional responses of characters. This approach not only preserves the spirit of the original but also makes the story more relatable to modern audiences, fostering a novel form of cross-cultural dialogue.
