Екологічні особливості та раціональне використання вовка звичайного на південному сході України

Abstract

UA : Робота викладена на 101 сторінках друкованого тексту, містить 5 таблиць та 12 рисунки. Перелік літератури включає 173 джерела. Об’єкт досліджень – - вовк (Canіs lupus), що мешкає у південно-східних областях України. Мета нашої роботи деталізувати географічну мінливість хижака у краніометричних, морфометричних показниках а також різність або навпаки схожість у раціоні харчування та відсоткової ставки жертв. Методи дослідження – польовий збір матеріалу: маршрутний облік за слідами, збір капрологічного матеріалу, опис місць мешкання; лабораторні дослідження: метод реєструючих структур у дентині зубів, вимірювання розмірних показників за допомогою електронних та механічних ваг, а також з використанням сантиметрової стрічки, статистичні методи. Актуальна полягає у тому, що, не дивлячись на певне практичне значення цього хижака, наявні наукові роботи з вивчення вовка є фрагментарними, недостатніми та мають переважно однобічну спрямованість при застарілому фактичному матеріалу. Новизна роботи в тому що останнім часом поглибленого і систематичного дослідження екології вовка на території України, зокрема на південному сході України не проводили. У такому випадку значно ускладнюється як оцінка стану досліджуваного виду, так і можливість управління ним. Велике біоценотичне та господарське значення, необхідність диференційованого визначення ролі цього хижака в певних регіонах зумовлюють необхідність досліджень стану місцевих популяцій та факторів, що впливають на нього. В задачі дослідження входило: 3. Визначити морфологічні та краніологічні особливості хижака в цих регіонах. 4. З’ясувати спектр кормів в зимовий період на досліджуваній території. 4 Проаналізувати зміни чисельності та фактори, які її зумовлюють. Науково – практичне значення наведених в роботі результатів полягає в тому, що вперше для району досліджень було отримано данні щодо морфологічних та краніологічних особливостей вовка звичайного, його характер живлення в зимовий період, а також проаналізовано динаміку чисельності та факторів, що її зумовлюють. Надано оцінку сучасного стану популяції цього хижака на території південного сходу України, що є підґрунтям використання зазначеного об’єкта мисливства. Результати роботи можуть бути використані в практиці мисливських господарств, а також вони є підґрунтям для планування та проведення моніторингу за станом природних екосистем та розробки стратегії використання цього виду.

EN : The work consists of 101 pages, 5 tables and 12 figures. The list of references includes 173 sources. The object of study is the wolf (Canis lupus), which inhabits the southeastern regions of Ukraine. The aim of our study is to formally describe the geographic variability of the predator in terms of its craniometric and morphometric parameters, as well as the differences, or conversely, the similarities in the diet and the weighted average rate of success when it comes to catching its prey. Methods of research - field sample collection: route tracking by way of animal footprints, collection of fecal samples, description of the places of residence; laboratory analysis: method of recording structures found in the dentine of teeth, measurement of dimensional parameters using electronic and mechanical scales, as well as employing the use of a centimeter tape and various statistical methods. The relevance of the study lies in the fact that, despite the practical significance of this predator, the available scientific papers that focus on studying the wolf species are fragmentary, insufficient, predominantly one-sided and feature obsolete factual data. The novelty of the research is facilitated by the fact that in recent years, an in-depth and systematic study of the environmental conditions of the wolf species in the territory of Ukraine, and in the southeast of Ukraine in particular, has not yet been conducted. In such a case, both the ability to assess the condition of the species under study but to manage it also becomes increasingly more diminished. The significant biocenotic and economic value and the need for a differentiated definition of the role of this predator in certain regions necessitate the study of the condition of local populations and the factors that influence it.

The research goals are listed as follows: 5. Identify the morphological and craniological peculiarities of the predator in these regions. 6. Ascertain what the spectrum of winter feeds is in the area under study. 5 Analyze the changes in population dynamics and the factors that cause them. The scientific and practical significance of the results presented in this paper lies in the fact that for the first time the data on the morphological and craniological peculiarities of the common wolf in the given research area, its winter feeding patterns, as well as the population dynamics along with factors that determine it, were obtained. An assessment of the current state of the population of this predator in the territory of southeastern Ukraine has been given, which can be thought of as the basis for managing it as a game species. The results of the study can be used in the practice of hunting grounds, but also as the basis for monitoring the state of natural ecosystems and developing a strategy for the use of the species.
