Лексико-стилістичні особливості перекладу роману М. Джеймса "Black leopard, red wolf" на українську мову

Abstract

UA : Об’єкт дослідження: лексико-стилістичні особливості роману М. Джеймса "Black Leopard, Red Wolf " та його перекладів на українську мову. Мета роботи: виявити лінгво-стилістичні особливості твору М. Джеймса "Black Leopard, Red Wolf" та визначити способи та засоби його перекладу на українську мову. Теоретико-методологічні засади: ключові теоретичні положення про стилістично-марковану лексику в лінгвістиці, літературознавстві та теорії перекладу (Л. Бейкер, П. Ньюмарк, І. Карабан, О. Кальниченко, Л. Мацько, О. Мацько, О. Сидоренко та ін.). Отримані результати: пріоритетом перекладача є зберігання первісного значення, стилістики та емоційного впливу оригінального твору через адаптацію лексики, граматики та стилістичних засобів оригіналу до властивостей цільової мови. Основні труднощі полягали у передачі культурно-зумовлених аспектів, збереженні метафоричності та багатозначності мови оригіналу, відтворенні авторського літературного стилю, у передачі глибинних конотацій і символіки, характерних для первісного тексту. В цілому переклад твору Марлона Джеймса вимагав від перекладача поглибленого розуміння обох мов та здатності відтворити унікальний літературний стиль, культурну автентичність та емоційну вагу оригінального твору.

EN : The study delves into the dynamic nature of semantic shifts within the lexical- stylistic discourse as it operates within literary domains. The object and subject of the study are the lexico-stylistic features of Marlon James's novel "Black Leopard, Red Wolf" and its translation by H. Yanovska. The aim of the study is the investigation of lexico-stylistic devices in the translation Marlon James's novel. This goal necessitates the execution of specific tasks:  identifying the lexico-stylistic devices used in the translations of fiction novels;  reviewing the characteristics of the Ukrainian translation of the novel from the perspective of lexicon and stylistics;  identifying the main differences between the original and the translation from the standpoint of lexico-stylistic analysis;  determining potential problems and difficulties that arose in the process of translating the novel in terms of lexicon and stylistics;  evaluation of the feature of the novel's translation based on the analysis conducted. Within this framework, the study proposes the concept of a theoretical basis for the practical analysis of a specific literary work - Marlon James's novel "Black Leopard, Red Wolf". The investigation review confirmed that achieving equivalence in translation is possible through various groups of transformations, preserving the stylistic and emotional nuances of the original. However, the structural analysis of the problems and challenges faced by the translator while working on the text maintain that each translation is unique and requires an individual approach.
