Емпатії як компонент професійної діяльності педагога

Abstract

Об’єкт дослідження: емпатія як професійно значуща особистісна якість педагога. На сучасному етапі розвитку суспільства зростають вимоги до якості освіти та до професійних особистісних якостей педагогів зокрема. На теперішній час існує потреба у педагогах з розвиненою емоційною сферою, здатних своєчасно відреагувати на почуття дитини, вчасно зрозуміти її стан і настрій, мати уявлення про середовище, в якому перебувають діти. Педагогам з нерозвиненою емпатією притаманна некоректна поведінка щодо дитини та інших учасників освітнього процесу. Так, не розібравшись в проблемній ситуації, вони можуть вдаватися до невиправданих покарань або моралізування. Вони не здатні бути на боці дитини, зрозуміти її вікові особливості. Наукова новизна полягає у визначенні необхідності розвитку емпатії як професійно значущої особистісної якості педагога.

Research object: empathy as a professionally significant personal quality of a teacher. At the current stage of society's development, demands for the quality of education and for the professional personal qualities of teachers in particular are increasing. Currently, there is a need for teachers with a developed emotional sphere who are able to respond to the child's feelings in a timely manner, to understand his state and mood in time, to have an idea of the environment in which children are. Teachers with undeveloped empathy are characterized by inappropriate behavior towards the child and other participants in the educational process. Thus, without understanding the problematic situation, they may resort to unjustified punishments or moralizing. They are not able to be on the child's side, to understand his age characteristics. Scientific innovation consists in determining the need to develop empathy as a professionally significant personal quality of a teacher.
