Зараз стрімко змінюється соціально-економічна ситуація в нашій країні, особливо важливим стає питання професійного самовизначення старшокласників, які умови та фактори сприяють успішності цього процесу. Адже, професійна діяльність у житті кожної людини є основою у забезпеченні її соціальних досягнень, самореалізації та самостверджень. Якщо ми проаналізуємо факти сучасної діяльності, то можна підкреслити той факт, що наразі багато молоді зазнають невдач, розчаровуються у своїй професійній діяльності на практиці. Однією з причин є невірний, необдуманий вибір професії. Як відомо, що старший шкільний вік є часом самовизначення. Бо перед кожним старшим школярем постає це питання, куди далі йти вчитися. Треба зробити особистісний вибір у професійному самовизначенні, що є дуже складним та водночас важливим завданням. Самостійний вибір професії, як “друге народження людини”, адже від того, наскільки правильно обрано життєвий шлях, залежить суспільна цінність людини, її місце серед інших людей, задоволеність роботою, фізичне та психічне здоров'я, радість та щастя. На сучасному етапі в системі професійної орієнтації важливе місце посідає проблема психодіагностики, за умови існування на ринку праці великої кількості різноманітних професій, які ставлять до людини конкретні, а буває і підвищенні вимоги. Таким чином, підвищується інтерес до діагностики, яка може допомогти старшокласникам визначити свої здібності, впевнитися у їх відповідності вимогам майбутньої професії. Наукова новизна: дослідження соціально-психологічних чинників вибору професії у старшому шкільному віці, здійснення емпіричного дослідження.

Currently, the socio-economic situation in our country is changing rapidly, the issue of professional self-determination of high school students is becoming especially important, which conditions and factors contribute to the success of this process. If we analyze the facts of modern activity, we can emphasize the fact that currently many young people fail, are disappointed in their professional activities in practice. One of the reasons is an incorrect, thoughtless choice of profession. As you know, high school age is a time of self-determination. Because every high school student is faced with the question of where to study next. It is necessary to make a personal choice in professional self-determination, which is a very difficult and at the same time important task. The independent choice of a profession is like the "second birth of a person", because a person's social value, his place among other people, job satisfaction, physical and mental health, joy and happiness depend on how well he chooses his life path. At the current stage, the problem of psychodiagnostics occupies an important place in the system of professional orientation, given the existence of a large number of various professions on the labor market, which place specific, and sometimes even increased, requirements on a person. Thus, there is an increased interest in diagnostics that can help high school students determine their abilities, make sure they meet the requirements of their future profession.
