Особливості художнього перекладу (на матеріалі мультижанрового твору Н. Ґеймана «AMERICAN GODS») українською та російською мовами

Abstract

UA : Об’єктом дослідження є порівняння лексики та художніх засобів які використали автор оригіналу та автори перекладу. Мета: виявити особливості перекладу твору Н. Ґеймана “American Gods” українською та російською мовами. Теоретико-методологічні засади: монографії та наукові праці вчених у яких розглядаються стратегії, методи та підходи до перекладу художньої літератури розроблені в перекладознавстві (Комісаров В. Н., Віноградов В. С., Федоров А. В., Миньяр–Белоручев Р. К). Отримані результати: Ми роздивились різні підходи до перекладу художніх текстів. Роздивились проблеми еквівалентності та адекватності. Виділили три стратегії котрі добре демонструють проблеми художнього перекладу, це стратегії доместикації, форенізації та нейтралізації. Встановили, що повну без еквівалентну лексику представляють лише реалії. Роздивились складнощі, які виникають при перекладі власних імен та роздивились їх класифікацію та способи передачі. Виявили складнощі при перекладі фразеологізмів, роздивились їх класифікацію. Складнощі при його перекладі в художніх текстах. Ми розібрали перекладацькі трансформації, які використовуються для перекладу текстів та проаналізували, які з них були застосовані для перекладу без еквівалентної лексики. Дійшли висновку, що головна мета художнього перекладу це не лише досягти адекватності, але й максимально наблизитись до стилю автора при цьому зробивши текст зрозумілим для читача. Отже, ми дійшли висновку, що неможливо знайти єдиний вірний спосіб перекладу художніх творів, кожну ситуацію треба аналізувати окремо спираючись на контекст, фонові знання при цьому не слід віддалятися від стилю автора, але й не забувати зробити текст зрозумілим читачу перекладу.

EN : The purpose is to identify the peculiarities of the translation of N. Gaiman's American Gods into Ukrainian and Russian. The object of the study is to compare the vocabulary and the linguistic tools and stylistic means used by the author and the translation techniques used by the authors of translations. Theoretical and methodological foundations: Monographs and other scholarly papers of researchers who elaborated strategies, methods and approaches to the translation of fiction in the field of translation studies (V. S. Vinogradov, V. N. Komisarov, A. V. Fedorov, R. K. Minyar-Beloruchev). Results obtained: We have analyzed the features of the translation of fiction texts based on the example of N. Gaiman's multi-genre work "American Gods". We studied different approaches to translation of fiction. Equivalence and adequacy issues were also examined by the author. We identified three strategies that clearly demonstrate the problems of translation: domestication, foreignization and neutralization strategies. The complexities involved in translation of proper names were examined as well as their classification and approaches to its translation. We identified the difficulties in translating phraseologisms, looked at their classification and considered the use of slang in translation. We have analyzed the translation transformations used to translate the fictional texts. It was concluded that the main purpose of fiction text translation is not only to achieve adequacy, but also to get as close as possible to the style of the author while making the text understandable to the reader. This is the main difficulty and the biggest question that arises here because there are no clear limits on how much you can change the text so that it can be qualified as translation. So we have come to the conclusion that it is impossible to find the only correct way to translate fictional works, each situation should be analyzed separately based on context and background knowledge.
