Ономастичні інновації в англійській мові та проблеми перекладу

Abstract

UA : Дипломна робота – 84 стор., 59 джерел, 2 додатки. Об’єкт дослідження: англомовні інноваційні одиниці із компонентомонімом. Мета роботи: розкриття особливостей структури й семантики інноваційних одиниць із компонентом-онімом в сучасній англійській мові та їх перекладу на українську мову. Теоретико-методологічні засади: ключові положення ономастики, особливості семантичного змісту ономастичної лексики (О. С. Ахманова, Н. В. Подольська, Д. І. Єрмолович), проблеми ономастичного словотвору і ономастичної міфології (Д. М. Бучко, Л. І. Василевська, Н. В. Подольська), проблеми неології (Ю. К. Волошин, Ю. А. Жлуктенко, Ю. А. Зацний). Отримані результати: Лексичні інновації утворюються в результаті процесу неологізації, що відображає загальний поступальний рух мови. Лексичні інновації відображають не лише динамічну появу нових сфер дійсності та життя людини англомовними одиницями номінації, оновлення лексичних та словотворчих ресурсів мови, їхній семантико-функціональний розподіл, але й прагматичну спрямованість комунікації в усній та писемній формах. У перекладацькій практиці при перекладі неологізмів з англійської мови на українську використовується ряд прийомів: транслітерація; транскрибування; калькування; описовий переклад, або експлікація; пряме включення, а також описовий переклад, що є найбільш уживаним способом відтворення неологізмів при перекладі.

EN : The presented paper is dedicated to the analysis of onomastic units as a complex linguistic phenomenon, based on modern linguistic material. The object of the work can be defined as English-language innovative units with onym component. The main aim of the paper consists in complex analysis of structure and semantics of innovative units with a component-onym in modern English. It determined the accomplishment of such objectives as: - to define the term "onomastic unit"; - to analyze different approaches to the classification of onomastic units; - to find out the main functions of onomastic units; - to reveal the essence of the concept of "innovation" and its role in the structure of new English onomastic units; - to identify the features of the semantics of English innovative units with an onym component, - to determine the difficulties and methods of English-Ukrainian translation of onomastic innovations. Peculiarities of the semantic content of onomastic vocabulary were analyzed in the works of J. Mill, A. Gardiner, E. Husserl, O. Espersen, A. F. Losev, O. S. Akhmanova and others; contrastive onomastics was studied by A. Vezhbytska, N. V Bagryntseva, D. I. Yermolovich; D. M. Buchko, L. I. Vasilevskaya, N. V. Podolskaya and others deal with the problems of onomastic word formation. The scientific novelty of the research is in the complex study of the peculiarities of the structure and semantics of innovative units of modern English with the onym component and methods of their translation into Ukrainian.
